And with all the money spent they could have at least made a point of printing the placards with the same message on both sides, instead of leaving one side blank. With the camera filming from behind, it looked like all the Labour supporters were surrendering en masse.

This comment just made me laugh out loud.
I have just learnt about Obummer’s (Joseph Muscat is a cut price version of Obama) proposals regarding energy tariffs. Having a pea brain, he doesn’t realize that his proposal are far more expensive and will plunge the country into ruin. But of course, his elves will not be able to see beyond the illusory 25% cut in their utilities bill.
Muscat only said that electricity charges would be slashed by 25 p.c. What he never said is what the pre-discounted charge would be.
Yesterday Joseph was trying an Attard Montaldo voice crescendo, which may be OK in a final campaign speech, but 9 weeks from election day? And then that smirk -” Ma kemm ghamilta tajba”. Tad – daqqiet ta’ harta.
My thoughts exactly. When he finished, his facial expression and body language were so unbelievably detached from the heightened tone of the speech, that it looked like someone else had been talking instead of him.
They’re also now announcing Me Schell with the leader (before and after the speech). Qishom qraghu il-kummenti tiehek, Daphne
Did you seriously expect better, James?
Not really.
Daphne, here’s your ‘scoop’ on Joseph Muscat’s hare-brained proposal to reduce electricity bills.
It’s pretty obvious that a 25% reduction is unworkable with current technologies, but it’s interesting to see just how out of touch that idiot is (or how utterly stupid he thinks everyone else).
An EU report leaked at the end of 2011 says electricity prices for households and businesses would rise “strongly up to 2020-2030” under all scenarios, partly because of higher prices needed to cover investment in renewable energy. So much for Joseph Muscat and his gas plant investors lining up to sell their energy on the cheap.

This is not a ‘Joseph plan’. More likely it is Edward Scicluna’s sleight of hand, a play on numbers which Joseph cannot quite understand.
How does dumping more debt on existing debt help reducing W&E tariffs?
How can the Labour Party propose a gas-fired power station when there is no gas storage infrastructure in place?
They propose some three gas container ships plying back and forth in order to supply the power station.
And who pays for transit and the ships themselves? Are they abandoning the inter-connector with the EU grid? Will the EU fund a new gas infrastructure helping an anti-EU regime in sheep’s clothing but still hiding wolves’ fangs?
A simple question for the hundreds of experts lining up to back The Great Leader’s theory:
Why hasn’t ANY energy company worldwide taken on this business model and set up shop all across Europe, far undercutting all current energy producing companies, raking in infinitely more profits than it could ever do here in Malta?
WHO in their right mind would come up with the idea of fixing energy prices for 10 years?
It takes a Kon-rad a brief trip to fantasyland, The Great Leader to sell it to the masses, and the Maltese people to swallow it.
Joseph Muscat would be morally convinced that the forecast for the whole of the European Union would not apply to an MLP fake model of a Switzerland in the centre of the Mediterranean.
Is it pertinent to ask what will happen between March 2013 and March 2014 ? Maybe Conrad hasa powerpoint presentation that he can share ?
