  1. Jozef says:

    You have to see the animated ad on Maltatoday.

  2. TROY says:

    I’m looking forward to 10 March, as Joseph’s New New Labour takes power.

    All us Nationalists will be embraced by the new Labour generation and we’ll be as one.

    Looking forward to the day I cast my vote.

  3. just me says:

    “As one nation, we believe the best is yet to come”. These are Joseph Muscat’s words (see the Times of Malta).
    “One nation” and “the best is yet to come” were Obama’s words after he was re-elected in November.

    Can’t Joseph be original for just once?

    However, I must say I agree with Joseph. The best is yet to come… if PN is re-elected to government.

    • Jozef says:

      I’m beginning to think he meant it when expressing concern to the PN taking his ideas.

      But then, only someone who lacks confidence in his capacity to churn these out would be so. It’s embarrassing.

      It’s not funny anymore, not when five years bereft of unforeseen incidents are just an illusion. He doesn’t think so.

      Can, does, anyone imagine Joseph Muscat handling a spike in immigrant landings or a local manufacturing facility facing closure?

    • Redneck Rabti says:

      Il-kbir ghadu gej.

      Joseph stolen that from Freddie Portelli.

  4. Bubu says:

    Watching TVHemm. Could someone alert Beppe Fenech Adami that he needs longer socks or longer trousers?
    Flashing his hairy man-ankles at the viewers probably won’t garner any votes.

  5. Tonio Mallia says:

    Daphne ! Please no! What horrible sounds

  6. A. Charles says:

    If I were a Labour supporter, I would not trust those civil servants who got promoted by the Nationalist government. They must be turncoats to the Labour ideal.

  7. Claude Sciberras says:

    Is haddemin actually a word?

    • Min Weber says:

      Yes, the real plural of haddiem.

      Haddiem = sing. m.

      Haddiema = sing. f. / plural (m. and /or f.)

      Haddemin = pl. (m and/or f.)

      Please avoid such comments. They lower the level of credibility.

      • Angus Black says:

        Forgive me if I am wrong but was your last sentence directed at Claude Sciberras?

        Since when is a question a ‘comment’ and why does it diminish the asker’s ‘credibility’?

        I find YOUR comment most annoying.

        Thanks for your lesson, anyway, it was most edifying.

    • observer says:

      I don’t think so. It is probably a substitute for “mahdumin”

  8. 2c worth says:

    The PN has been in government for 25 years (minus Sant’s two years) and have done a good job of putting Malta on the European map FOR THE RIGHT REASONS.

    The PL have been in opposition for that amount of time and their job was to convince us that they deserve to govern because they would do a better job than the Nationalist Party.

    They were even given a chance to do it in 1996-1998 and they failed miserably. Nothing they have done in Opposition since has given good reason to think they are now any better.

    So who would you vote for?

    And honestly, if there really was a way to lower the electricity bill, wouldn’t the PN government have done it?
