House prices and negative equity
What effect will JOSEPHMUSCAT.COM’s new power station, LNG sea terminal and two huge gas tanks have on house prices in the area?
A dampening effect, I would imagine, to say the least.
Those who have a loan out on their homes will probably even end up with negative equity.
But apparently they don’t care ghax l-aqwa li jiffrankaw Eur100 fis-sena fuq il-kont tad-dawl (if they actually believe that).
They should bear in mind that it’s only some pigs who are equal, and if they take JOSEPHMUSCAT.COM’S government to court for compensation, they’re unlikely to receive a million euros and get to keep their property too, as Yana and Anne Mintoff and the twisted little man who produced them did.
And Yana and Anne may yet sue again: after all, they do have their father’s money-grubbing genes.

The PN urgently needs to hold frequent meetings with slideshows in Marsaxlokk, Zejtun, Marsascala and Birzebbuga to explain to the residents that these massive flammable gas tanks that Muscat wants in their backyard are not only going to be an eyesore if built but will not be safe for their communities.
Cyprus already had a similar incident that caused major chaos there.
People, open your eyes.
Keep in mind that the amount of gas in each tank will be equivalent to 600 times the volume in liquid state.
In other words the two tanks in liquid form translate into 1200 tanks of gas cloud. Not bad.
I do not believe these localities you mentioned are really understanding the visual and security impact this is having on them. Actually they do not want to understand because it is a Labour project!
Add that to the fact of their proximity to the airport, and the danger increases significantly.
I have calculated that 60 thousand cubic metres of gas are roughly equivalent in volume to about 1.8 million 15kg domestic gas cylinders (based on figures provided by this website http://www.panhandleenergy.com/property_lng.asp).

The PN have lost interest in winning the election. Let alone organise meetings with slideshows in the Labour strongholds you mention.
Major chaos?
That’s why Cyprus asked for a bailout, according to Joseph on Xarabank last Friday.
A grass fire brought Cyprus to its knees. Imagine what would an LNG leak of say 20m cubed would cause: a cloud of highly flammable gas 600 times bigger, that’s 12,000 metres cubed (40mt x 30mt x 10 mt) near the Delimara power station, which will be ignited by the slightest spark.
The explosion would be similar to the one that occurred at the Mosta fireworks factory, but with the added effect of asphyxiation. The explosion will use up all the oxygen in the area.
Silly me. I thought it had something to do with their banks being overly exposed to Greek sovereign debt.
Here, have a look at these photos. They make for an impressive Powerpoint presentation. Maybe Konrad Mizzi can put them together and call another conference “Labour’s energy proposals – the consequences.”

… perhaps Franco Debono or Simone Cini who both own properties in the Tas-Silg area will join the Yana and Anne brigade
Do you know when the list of candidates for each district is published?
FAA and its coordinator Ms Astrid Vella are not qualified to comment on the impact of Joesph’s proposed project for Delimara/M’Xlokk.
Ms. Vella should hang her head in shame after the fuss and trouble she caused to all the PN projects.
Has she by now decided which of Joesph cheeks she will be kissing after the 9th March and when the monster tanks start to be built.
Facciola.

Actually Matt, I think these slide shows should be shown/send to those P.N. disgruntled “supporters” who are saying they won’t vote in the coming election.
Most socialist supporters don’t care a fig as long as Joe becomes prime minister.
But the former should be more aware of the negative consequences of a change to socialist.
Remember when Sant won the election the world around us was in quite good shape.
Today its totally different and the damage bestowed on Malta by the socialists won’t be repaired so easily. It can be a disaster of epic proportions for all if us.

Don’t you all remember the little one we had near Kappara?
It was such a lovely site.
[Daphne – Lovely site, lovely sight, or both?]
And this is what Malta’s favourite green crusader has to say about Labour’s project

What joseph said about the Klabb 3-16
“Our plan is to discuss with the Department of Education how this service can be improved and expanded. There has been a strong and positive feedback to the existent services and we intend to build on that,” he said.
Erm…. so it hasn’t been either properly analysed or costed yet? So it is truly an empty promise.
Something else.

It seems that in Malta, justice takes a back seat to politics.
Have MintoffJana and Anne McKenna Mintoff written to The Times to complain about this Labour power station as yet?
Have they complained about how Delimara will now become GassyMara?
Maybe MintoffJana “would need more facts on that.”
How about adding land-grabbing genes to the money-grubbing ones? That land wasn’t his in the first place.
This should give an idea of what the tanks at Delimara will look like.
34 million litres each tank, the ship carries four.
8:45 to 9:10, at 9:05 he’s barely recognisable on the top platform of the second tank.

Excuse my ignorance but won’t it cost a fortune to keep it within safety norms?
