I can’t take any more of this. MLP will still win. I can feel it in my bones.

    • thehobbit says:

Yes. I’ve been telling Daphne all along that it doesn’t matter what PL says.

They could be talking gobbledygook (which they are) because they’re still going to be voted in.

You can also tell by the PN’s lethargy. There’s no message being sent out there because it’s a fait accompli.

      PN has given up.

Pity as I believed they had a fighting chance. But, they’ve probably got the stats in…stats that they trust and they know which way the dice is going to roll.

    • bob-a-job says:

I tend to agree. What bothers me most is that Labour simply does not have the brains to run the country.

They call Konrad ‘wonder boy’, so can you imagine how bad the hidden ones are.

He is starting to get on my nerves now with that mirthless smile – it makes me want to kick his arse while he’s having a pee just to stop his flow.

      • Last Post says:

I don’t agree the PN is being lethargic. It’s just that people are now believing what they previously thought was impossible (reducing energy tariffs now).

It just sounds so good and too many people are just focusing their attention on this issue alone.

This is another Labour Trojan horse. After the great changes EFA introduced since 1987, what could he do in 1996, except fight on. This time expect Joseph to continue splattering other less spectacular (and unsustainable) promises and people will get even more intoxicated.

His latest is a 15% VAT final withholding tax ON PROPERTY. He’s simply irresponsible and inconsistent. One day he says EneMalta is bankrupt and on the same day on the same subject, he says that 370m euro shouldn’t be a problem for EneMalta.

All he’s interested in is getting there, possibly with MORE than 13,000 votes over his rival. Still, too many people don’t learn their lesson:- the wolf may change its coat but not its skin.

  2. Min Weber says:

    Franco has just done it.

[Daphne – Never has he been more irrelevant.]

Looks like a missionary spreading the word amongst the heathen.

Build your tanks and stick a crucifix on them. Job done.

  4. U Le! says:

Yes, they probably will but better die on your feet then lying down.

All you need to hear is Konrad Mizzi passing comments on Dr. Ann Fenech and Chris Ciantar.

The pre-audit exercise. Malta taghna lkoll, my foot.

  5. thehobbit says:

”…and take decisions in the next days”

Oh, you’re such a turd, Franco.

  6. Futur Imcajpar says:

I’m surprised Miles Seaman could understand some of the questions put to him.

Some sounded as if they had gags inside their mouths or tongues too big to waggle around.

  7. bystander says:

    Why does politics attract wankers?

  8. Lichtenberg says:

I have just learnt the lesson that you can actually win an election by doing nothing.

You let the party in government do all the dirty work, oppose it in a way it makes more good work, and then when the government is fully exhausted, defeat it in an election. Take that for an election stunt.

    • Jozef says:

Exactly, First thing tomorrow is to declare myself an economist, I will then expect to go on TV and spout garbage at a faster rate than anyone can keep up with and voila’, I’m minister.

I just can’t bloody believe the gall shown this evening, there’s no way he’ll ever come across or make any contact in an argument.

Problem is, what he’s talking about is an objective reality, risks tangible and consequences fatal.

We can’t be reduced to this.

  9. Vanni says:

Why were one or two journalists (I didn’t follow all the clip, so there may have been more) asking the minister questions in Maltese, when a non-Maltese speaker was not only present, but the guest of honour? Is their English so poor? Or are they simply lacking in basic manners?
