Watch this hilarious video of Joseph trying to escape the people and get to the relative safety of his transportable platform, from which he can talk down to them at a secure distance.

Did he remind them that Alfred Sant and he himself as his faithful follower wanted the Port Cottonera project excluding all Senglea and Cottonera inhabitants?

    • Tista tghidli Daphne fejn rajt lil Joseph jipprova “jahrab” minn nies li laqghuh ?????? Veru l-kampanja elettorali qed taffettwak hazin. qed tispicca tara l-affarijiet bil-maqlub !

  2. hate you ! :) says:

issa xhe hazijn bdal video ?

[Daphne – Oh dear, the Labour Facebook crowd are coming back in. Jaqaw xi hadd ghamel xi link fuq xi wall?]

  3. Kevin Zammit says:

Some look like they are doing for the first time as Bonnici advised whilst the majority look like they are “last time voters”.

  4. Paul Bonnici says:

Hamallagni tal-biza. One reason why I will probably never retire in Malta, thanks to the PN incompetence of failing to sort this lot out. They will be in power in two months.

    Malta is doomed.

  5. H.P. Baxxter says:

Not to make Joseph jealous, but you should see our Purdie out on a Saturday morning. Can’t walk for all the ladies drooling over him. Last time he had to fight them off with a lit Montecristo.

    • Harry Purdie says:

Didn’t work, Baxxter. Forgot to light the Montecristo. Was overwhelmed with the lovelies, just had to lie down and enjoy. Tough life here.

  6. MX says:

Kemm hu falz at 0:42 – he doesn’t event try to look genuine.

  7. Min Weber says:

At this rate, will he eventually have to shave off everything?

Will he start wearing a uniform? Will he choose one colour and have all his shirts in it? Will he address the crowds from the balcony and tell them that there is one categorical imperative which flies from San Dimitri to Marsaxlokk?

  8. Kenneth says:

Am I the only one who heard a kid saying “Dan li se jgibli pizza? Fejni il-mummy?” around the 45th second?

  9. Matthew says:

Well, to be fair, I would want to get away from such a scary lot as well.

Progressive and liberal they surely are not.

And what’s with the white trash names?

    Raki? Shalaya?

For heaven’s sake, how do they come up with these names?

Is it just me who thinks that if the people in this video ever have to hold up a placard claiming ‘Mala taghna lkoll.’, they will do so grudgingly? They’ve been waiting to get back in power for years. Does anyone really think they would want to share it?

  10. Ian says:

hahaha – class-act video. His little visit must have made their day, poor things!

To be fair I think he handled them quite well though.

Also, in hindsight, how could someone like Alfred Sant appeal to those type of people? So aloof and cold?
