You’ve got your project manager, JosephMuscat2013

If Jesmond Mugliett can get a short bridge fixed in 18 months, give or take a few scandals and accusations of corruption, well then surely he can get a power station project and attendant infrastructure built and commissioned in 24 months.

Go for it, Joseph!

And Karen will cook you lunch (if she hasn’t done so a hundred times already, in the company of Carmen and Jeff).

Pathetic people.

Hello, Karen? I’m bringing the great leader back for dinner.

  3. Antoine Vella says:

The application for the reconstruction and rehabilitation of the bridge took just over a year to be approved by MEPA (PA/05245/05).

And they want us to believe they can get their power plant and all the ancillary facilities approved in four or five weeks.

    • H.P. Baxxter says:

That’s nothing. How long did it take to get the power station extension approved? Or the Malta-Sicily interconnector?

MEPA treats national projects of strategic importance with the same urgency as an application for a penthouse.

But I suppose it will all change with the Dawning Of The Age Of Aquarius.

      • Mercury Rising says:

Re the penthouse application, that depends on a number of factors and DC2007 is not one of them. Never mind compliance, that’s another saga.

      • Antoine Vella says:

Baxxter, the new power plant at Delimara took almost five years to be approved by MEPA (PA/03152/05), from May 2006 to January 2010.

The relocation of an LPG depot at the Freeport (PA/01947/02) also took almost 4 years: from April 2002 to February 2007.

Obviously, the appropriate response would be to wheel out Anglu Farrugia on NET so that he could criticise the PL proposal. Let these two paragons of credibility, competence and integrity slog it out in public.

  6. Loyalty First says:

No need to cart in Labour defectors like Anglu Farrugia and Adrian Vassallo. We had enough traitors in our midst; we surely don’t need any more volte faccie, wherever they’re coming from.

We had Joe Grima first thrown out of the party by Alfred Sant and now licking Joseph Muscat’s heels, then we had that Manuel Micallef, kicked out of the GWU by Mercieca and Zarb and now licking the boots of the Labour Party and Tony Zarb.

Elections come and go, but our principles will remain. They are not for sale.

  8. C Falzon says:

I’m all but convinced that Labour’s Power Plan will work. All that remains is for Franco Debono to endorse it.

  9. Toyger says:

I heard that his wife is going to be a candidate with PL. Is it true?
