Can you imagine ANY Nationalist politician, still less a cabinet minister, behaving like this?

Evarist Bartolo

Evarist was a cabinet minister under Premier Sant. He will be a cabinet minister again in a couple of weeks, probably with the education portfolio (again).

He teaches at the university, which is almost certainly one of the reasons many journalists are hopeless at their job.

He is 60 years old. And look at him, on Facebook:

Tick Tock

I hate to spell it out, Evarist, but writing accident or terminal illness out of the equation, you’re a whole lot closer to the grave than the rest of us are, so tick-tock yourself.

The ‘tick tock’ of your biological clock – no, not that one – must be what has kept you hanging on and hanging on, gagging to get a ministerial position at 60 (the fresh new face of Labour) before your time runs out.

Next time you’ll be 65. Perhaps by then you’ll know enough to spare us YET ANOTHER general election decorated with the ugly, bitter face of Suor Bartolo, aka Maria l-Maws.

Counting the seconds when he goes back on the opposition benches.

With a mentality like that he is only fit to fill the kindergarten portfolio.

‘Labour leader Joseph Muscat has admitted making a “mistake” in the Safi drugs case involving deputy leader Toni Abela’

Joe Muscat is extremely good when it comes to hindsight but the saga changes drastically when it comes to foresight.

A tiresome little shit – nothing more. Anybody who takes him seriously deserves to be ignored too.

Evarist is a has-been. The only consistent trait he has retained is the poisonous tongue.

The “new” aspect is sadly that he has become extremely childish as he approaches pensionable age. What a loser.

The problem of Labour is that they are full of Suor Bartolos and Sour Bartolos.

So this vitriolic spineless snake who should be decorating a Chinese kebab is the new face of Labour?

Better the asses of the PN than this ‘new face’.

The clock struck one, and the Maws ran down. Baj baj, Bartolo.

I was out with a sizable group of friends discussing (what do you know) the two political campaigns and it was agreed that the PL have the stronger campaign with Joseph Muscat absolutely everywhere, saying the right thing.

Yet there is one glaring inconsistency in their slogan “Malta Taghna Lkoll” and that is that they don’t really believe it is ‘taghna lkoll’ at all.

Comments by the likes of Varist above, Luciano, Leo and the hordes of rabid PL supporters on FB really dilute the sugar-coated call for unity.

They don’t mean it at all. They just want our vote.

100% correct. In fact, I don’t think Flash Joseph will last more than a year before the hardliners take over. S welcome back Anglu and have the honey pot all to themselves.

      Malta Taghna BISS, eh.

There is a probable reason why Evarist Bartolo was removed from Super 1 News Room and relegated to Maltastar.com

This probability stems from the fact that Evarist Bartolo broadcast news material about various people that was libellous.

One of those persons was a Labour candidate.

A complaint was lodged following which he was made to retract what was transmitted in the news that same evening after which he was dismissed.

This incident happened about two years back.
