A member of my international worldwide network of spies, this time in Valletta, tells me that George Farrugia (the man who has been given a pardon to turn state’s evidence, and whose alleged emails are littering the press) is regularly seen out drinking heavily with Siegfrid Borg Cole and Franco Debono…his lawyers.

I have a lawyer, but I don’t think we’ve had more than a stand-up espresso together once a year, out of pure civility.

Franco Debono has been out to get Austin Gatt for the last two or three years. His most recent attempt, in parliament, brought down the entire government. That’s just how bilious his feelings towards him are.

The man is so rabid that even now, while he is legal counsel to George Farrugia, he thinks nothing of compromising his client’s brief by exposing himself to accusations of personal animosity and an agenda driven by ulterior motives.

His blog is plastered with fresh hysteria against Austin Gatt, against the prime minister who was instrumental in securing a pardon for his client (as long as he says what he knows) and of course, against me for saying that Ascot House couldn’t offload its Big Pony shirts for love or money after he was photographed wearing them.

As I wrote earlier, there is much more to all this than meets the eye. Yes, there really is an Evil Click at work.

Let me guess, is it the pub next to Hastings?

    Hopeless, clueless bunch.

I had the same thoughts about Franco Debono being Farrugia’s lawyer and how he would have access to information relating to Austin Gatt if he is actually involved in all this.

Nonetheless, would the extent of such negative exposure for Austin be discussed by the cabinet in deciding whether to grant Farrugia a pardon to expose all info?

(Assuming that AG is actually involved).

[Daphne – Of course he is not involved. The assets of those who are have been frozen. But the Labour Party isn’t keen on talking about that, and prefers to keep the focus on Gatt, their real target.]

I really do hope that giving a presidential pardon to this Farrugia, more so that he has that loser Franco as his lawyer, was a wise and calculated decision. I dont trust the two buggers at all.

I think that the mud they are throwing is turning into a boomerang.

Evil Click = Evil cliques that, by tampering with emails, click in an evil way?

Joking apart, I do not know whether any of you recall the Gonzi vs Muscat TV debate where Muscat kept asking whether all information / contracts for Enemalta were published and looked like he had some ace up his sleeve but the punch-line never arrived.

Thinking aloud, how many weeks was that before MaltaToday broke the news?

[Daphne – Just a day or two.]

That’s exactly what I was thinking. Xarabank footage available online? He repeated that phrase 2 or 3 times.

Joseph Muscat was nearly going to spill the beans on Xarabank that night. He literally had to force himself to stop talking.

I just hope that the PM and cabinet did not walk straight into a trap by offering a pardon to George Farrugia.

I would not put it past Franco to perform a harakiri and push his client to lie under oath.

Of course that would make him disqualify him from being pardoned, but you can expect anything from this psycho.

Siegfrid Borg Cole’s involvement is surprising

I’d like to ask whether anyone knows why Franco loathes Dr Gatt so much. Also, do you think that he is the only one involved in this evilness? I believe he is not alone.
