Even if there’s an ice-cube’s chance in hell of that happening, I hope it all blows up in their grabbing faces

If these are really switchers from PN to Joseph’s bowel movement I’d like to ask why they voted for the Nationalist Party in the previous elections.
They are just opportunists, Daisy. Nothing more and nothing less.
Many Labour supporters voted PN in previous elections because they realised that Malta in the EU was the best option.
Now, we are in the EU, they “switch” back to PL.
Seeing as they they voted PN once, they classsify themselves as switchers.
What is sad for me is having to choose who I trust the less and then voting for the other.
I keep coming back to how Muscat dismisses his years of campaigning against Malta’s EU membership as a ‘mistake’.
As much as I can’t trust Gonzi, I trust Muscat a lot less.
At the Xaghjra Labour gathering there was a certain Mrs. Boffa. Any relation to Lara?
She READ
At the Xaghjra Labour gathering there was a certain Mrs. Boffa. Any relation to Lara?
She READ a question about pensioners. Muscat’s first sentence was that there is a substantial number of pensioners who cannot make ends meet. She certainly didn’t look like one of them.
How about the PN produce a video showing the Labour equivalent of the ‘PN Sliema stereotype’ – which is a hamallu famly from, jien naf, wherever they come from.
Now THAT would be fun to watch.
Because if the PL accepts that PN diehards are puliti from Sliema, I’m sure they can accept THEIR stereotype with a smile.
U biex zewgi jilhaqq kummissarju tal – pulizija.
We’ll ignore the English on the billboard shall we? However as far as I know, isn’t she breaking any sort of rule appearing on billboards?
Some people will just about do anything to support the lifestyle to which they believe they’re accustomed.
I’m REALLY curious to see what the Kenneth billboard says.
Correct me if I am wrong. But is Ramona Frendo not considered a good lawyer, and does she not hold a very good position within her legal firm?
So, if, as they keeping saying, Nationalist have been there for the last 25 years, exactly how did she end up in the position she is in, if not through merit.
Don’t tell me she has had a sponsor for the last 25 years.
Maybe she has been offered the position of a magistrate or judge.
Same as for Audrey Harrison – my feeling is that with a Masters in Creativity, she expected to be offered a University or a national theatre job. And when this did not materialise, then she became INvolved with hamburger Joe’s movement.
My sentiments exactly.
Daph, watched Me Shall last night on Bla Agenda. When the programme was supposedly off air, she could be heard asking Josette Hamilton, “Tajba giet? ” and again “Tajba giet?”
After all, Evita is quite insecure.
Dear Daisy, usually a stupid question does not deserve an answer, but as t0-day might be your birthday, etc. I will make an execption.
Because the party was still a True Nationalist party, not like the corruption riddled party we have to-day.
I was one who voted for the P.N. for the last 50years or so,but as I consider myself as a man of average intelligence,I will this time not cast my vote as I believe it is not in the interest of the party to win. It needs time to have a good Spring cleaning and rid itself of all the BLOOD SUCKERS who have taken over the party .
[Daphne – Hasn’t it ever occurred to you, Silvio, that your departure might be construed as the very sort of cleaning up that the Nationalist Party needed, and one of the reasons for its success post 1981? There’s one right-wing totalitarian party already. Malta really doesn’t need another one.]
Corruption has existed since the times of J.C. Remember Judas? The MLP are not in power and yet they too are corrupt, can you imagine if they are in power?
We now have it on record that there are two ‘True Nationalists’ extant in Malta.
Silvio and Franco whatsisname.
GOOD ONE DAPHNE
Who cares about cleaning parties, Silvio? One can find more dirt than in the other. The choice is between a proven leader and a wind vane.
I am really worried about who will run my country’s economy.
If the PN is dirty we can change the ones representing it in parliament. Instead of Franco we can choose Jason Azzopardi, David Casa, Mario Rizzo Naudi or if we want a really clean slate Mark Anthony Falzon.
On the other side of my ballot list there are Joey il-Farrell, Gorg Vella, Karmenu Vella, Anthony Zammit, Marion Mizzi, Luciano Busuttil and Edaward Scicluna.
Now you tell me who the bloodsuckers on my list are?
Is Mark Anthony Falzon standing for election? That’s news indeed.
[Daphne – Sammut.]
Righty ho. That Falzon is a champ though. I should be working for him.
Mark Anthony Sammut , sorry for the slip.
Falzon had a good article on the Sunday Times and Sammut on Il-Mument.
You will still get the government that you deserve and there is no way how your conscience could be cleared, just because you did not vote.
If you really think that Joe’s hotchpotch movement is the best government for Malta in these times of turmoil, then you are duty bound to vote it in power, and not abstain.
Just keep on cutting your nose to spite your face (actually the Maltese translation suits you even better!)
“… I consider myself as a man of average intelligence”
Let others decide whether you are of average intelligence, Silvio. Self-praise, even if modest, is not on.
By what you write, you can’t be that bright.
If the Nationalist Party is bad by your assessment and you switched to Labour, then it’s not a case of not being bright. It verges on being stupid.
What I really hope does blow up in his grabbing face is JPO’s desire to remain MCST chairman.
If there were a hundred reasons for voting PN, now there are a hundred and one.
Well, let’s make a list of these shameless gits and watch their progress under Labour. I’m very sure they will prosper, if nobody else does.
PL = Electricians Godda
ghax tghidx kemm jghamlu switches
If Ms Harrision is making the ‘switch’ can she please ask Perit Charles Buhagiar, one of the ‘cutting edge’ candidates, to put on the bulbs.
They want to manage the country but yet cannot put together a simple tender document, unless of course this is all part of the super plan to reduce spend on electricity.
They want us to believe they will complete a power station in two years – pull the other one. http://www.timesofmalta.com/articles/view/20130224/local/Architects-forget-to-include-bulbs-in-ebbu-road-tender.458989.
Buhagiar’s first signs of dementia.
I thought the footer was meant to read: Biex Zewgi isir Kummisarju tal-Pulizija
This Audrey Harrison wants more. She was given all the tools to go to university as a civil servant, went to live in Marsaxlokk and now she’s complaining about the non existent smoke from the tall chimney which was built ages ago.
To put her mind at rest and that of others the exhaust fumes going out of the Delimara power station are continuously monitored and available on line.
Oh I see that this excuse which she dished out at the Eden Arena does not feature on the billboard.
Labour knows that it does not hold water.
What we’re not told is that her husband is Assistant Police Commissioner Neil Harrison.
The more I see and read about switchers the more I’m convinced that Gonzi’s last five years have been based on meritocracy.
QED TARA KEMM KIEN HEMM UFFICCJALI KORROTTI FIL-MEPA biex il-gvern jidher ikrah. Fid-dinja qatt tafda lil min tafu. Ahseb u ara lil min ma tafux.
