Has Labour really bought his silence by pledging to make him a judge?

This is when he should have been asked to resign: when he went to the Commissioner of Police, exerting undue influence, and gave a press conference outside Police HQ saying that the Nationalist Party had bought votes in 2008 and he had a file full of hundreds of names to prove it.

A prejudicant would be a more suitable position.

Why bother to comment? Now Anglu has gone. All we can do is to wait for him to fulfil his promise of “saying all” – I think it is the best if we keep waiting to hear and evaluate. I am no Anglu fan, but the way he was treated by Muscat is really shameful.

Better this thanpromising him the presidency.

  4. Angus Black says:

Anglu Farrugia, a judge? That would make my day! This man was not fit to be a police constable walking the beat, let alone a lawyer, much less a judge.

I don’t think that even Joseph would dare. There must be more Labour aspirants vying for the job, unless of course, Joseph expands the judiciary so much that he will have no option but to rope Anglu in.

But then, Anglu is an expert at doling out justice fairly, equally, as long as he consistently finds for Labour friends of friends.

  5. Gahan says:

Tomorrow Anglu will speak about how he was murdered politically by his best friend. He will speak about how your best buddy calls to meet you and empties the magazine of his pistol cold-bloodedly in you.

This Muscat is a ruthless opportunist.

[Daphne – No wonder he gets along so well with the drunken dentist then.]

Now we will see how the Labour leaning commentators will react after the publication of THE interview.

They were the ones who encouraged Franco in the name of democracy to rebel against his party.”The PN is not the same” said Franco , and Anglu talks about “Labour Party’s shift in ideologies”.

Mosta seems to be the Waterloo for Joseph.

A week is a long time in politics, Daphne.

I have my doubts if he has the balls to spill the whole can of beans at this stage of the election campaign.

    • Gahan says:

The teaser video reveals a lot already.

I suspect that the PL electoral programme approval by the party delegates will be done on Face Book, to avoid a showdown at the Mile End HQ.

The party delegates didn’t like the way Anglu Farrugia was kicked out. They had the right to hear his side of the story.

Il-Gudikatura diga qieghedha sew u b’Anglu Farrugia tigi ahjar.

Ahjar Il-Partit Laburista jghid il-verita’ ghalfejn kecca lil Anglu Farrugia ghax hadt ma jaf xejn. Anqas il-Laburisti stess pero’ fil-maggoranza taghhom jghidu li sewwa ghamillu ghax m’ ghandomx grazzja mieghu.

Haga ta’ l-iskantament hi li Joseph Muscat ippermetta u approva nies pruvati korrotti sabiex jergghu jikkontestaw bhala kandidati mal-Labour u lil Anglu Farrugia keccieh mill-partit.

Joseph Muscat anqas kien serju biex jiehu azzjoni kontra sindki Laburisti li hawdu kemm felhu waqt il-legislatura taghhom, anzi iddefendihom kemm felah. Allura dan kollu jfisser li Anglu Farrugia kien responsabbli ta’ xi haga gravi jew xi hadt fil-Labour jaf xi haga serja dwar Anglu, jew inkella rifes xi kallu ta’ xi hadt li huwa qrib sew ta’ Joseph Muscat.
