I should stop checking this blog before I go to bed. How does one get a good night’s sleep, knowing that these peasants could be in charge of the country , in two weeks time? Great editing though!
I can sleep well tonight. Just read that Nikita Zammit Alamango wants my vote so she can “accelerate the country’s socio-economic growth”. Sweet.
Daphne….. Your intelligence impresses me….. Brilliant!

Pity. We’re not all FB users, and accessing the page requires registration.
Believe me…. you’re better off!
Well, let’s look at it this way.
If the mother was Sant’s PA then we should all take her advice and not vote Labour as she must know what she’s saying.
Who in the right frame of mind can vote for such rubbish! How depressing to think that this can be an eventuality for the next 5 years.

Daphne, please in the future do have some consideration for your readers’ sanity.
First thing I did this morning was go to your blog and the bloody “Partnership” jingle has been rattling around in my brain ever since. In God’s name, how do I make it stop?
With another infectious jingle.

I want to learn how to fly
I want to be respected
I want to get lucky
I want to get out of this dump
I just want to watch TV
I want to be loved
I want to be different
I want a brother and sister
I’d just rather be forgotten
I want to save the world
I want to be understood
I want to be rich
Man, I just want to be somebody

Julie’s got the word today
She lost her job just one last pay
Life don’t come easy anymore
[Ninsabu fi krizi finanzjarja wara kollox]
Still strugglin’on by herself
Got a picture of Jimmy
There on the shelf
And she looks at him and says
Why did we let it go
I know that sometimes baby
We didn’t see things eye-to-eye
[Il-PN mhux perfett]
But I got just one question
Did we have to say goodbye
[Allura ma nivvotalux?]
Just like prisoners in paradise
Still far from heaven’s door
We had it all but still we
Wanted more
[Kemm ghandu ragun]
Now I realize that I can’t
Turn back the future’s here
To stay [u issa l-Lejber rebhu] but hey
We’re just children of tomorrow
Hangin’ on to yesterday
[Hsiebna fin-Nazzjonalisti ta’ veru]
Jimmy still recalls the night
When he took his guitar
And headed on out
To find the big time
That was his dream
He gave up his past
And made it alright
But there’s something missin’
In his heart tonight
Sometimes what you want
Ain’t what you need
[Irridu l-bidla. Imma mhux il-bidla li ghandna bzonn.]
He misses drivin’ down
To the lake at night
Holdin’ his baby
In his arms so tight
Ain’t it hard to find illusions
When you’re livin’ in a memory
[Din il-bicca ghall-warm-up tal-koppji fil-meeting]
Just like prisoners in paradise
So close but yet so far
There will come a time
No matter who you are
When you ask yourself
Was it right or wrong
For me to turn away but hey [Ahsbu sew qabel tivvotaw]
We’re just children of tomorrow
Hangin’ on to yesterday
