Super One News carries on with its positive campaign

I watched Super One News tonight to see how they covered the arraignment of Tarcisio Mifsud and Alfred Mallia, those two old Laburisti hodor who made Enemalta their own during the Golden Years of Mintoff, and who refused to let go even after that.
They reported it as though the corruption were still happening today and those two old gits left the office last year.
There was, of course, none of the usual Super One style at all: “Hu l-eks chairman tas-Super One u eks sindku Laburist ta’ Hal Qormi akkuzat & c & c”.
The Evil Machine and its positive campaign.

Costed, f’gieh kemm hemm. tsk.
Daphne, your blog is a sane refuge. Thank you.
Maybe unrelated, but just came across something:
The first thing Hon. Dr. Joseph Muscat ever did when he got elected democratically as a Member of the European Parliament was to report Malta to the EU Commission about the taxation on satellite dishes; see:

Little did he know that he would end up leading a team made up of the same people who used to charge Lm50 (as a gift) when buying a Lm500 TV in the so conveniently forgotten Golden Ages. Still can’t believe a 5~10 euro clock made the headlines for days…
Can anyone find the article the Timesofmalta.com had about government workers to be analysed and who’s not good for the job removed, top to bottom?
Was it Deborah Schembri ? I cant find it on ToMs search. Can the people be reminded what was said there?
Labour is going to remove everyone from his current post… but leave JPO… cause he’s doing a good job apparently. /end of sarcasm
@Mister – I think it was Helen Dalli who said that.
Thanks for that!
Here goes the headline that EVERYONE is missing and no one asked Joseph Muscat about… the whole campaign.
Labour warns that people will be replaced if they are not qualified for top jobs – Thursday, October 25, 2012

But JPO… he’s good eh?!
It was Helena Dalli.
No mention of their positions in The Times report either.

The first thing to do if you want to have a positive campaign, is to tell the truth. For example the opposition must start by recognising that the Nationalists and particularly the prime minister have managed to make a fantastic job of keeping our finances in good shape. Only when you are being honest can you say your campaign is positive not negative.
