Students have to thank this government for the given opportunity to be students. In my time we were not given that right because the Labour government did not want us to learn, they took from us the privilege of being a student.

Jan Chircop, so fussy about time management, left me and about 10 patients waiting at the Bormla Health Centre for about an hour for no apparent reason and then spoke to me as if I was scum. Two weights, two measures!

      @ Anna C

You are assuming when you say “apparent.”

When you have facts in hand you would be in a position to comment. Did you address him by complaining first?

At least here we only have a maximum 20 minutes drive to get to a Health Centre. Semi-urgent cases abroad are seen sometimes after two days and sometimes not before two weeks. Was your case urgent? If it was, wouldn’t you have gone straight to Mater Dei?

Why do you complain about silly things and not thank your lucky stars that good-quality health care is so easily available in this country?

You seem to be relatively eloquent, so why doesn’t this translate into your thinking?
