OUR RANDY MP – Joe Cilia decides not to contest elections
Joe Cilia, former Labour Parliamentary Secretary, questioned by police on grounds of sexual harassment, decides to call it a day, as MaltaToday’s heat is too much to handle.
He capped off his illustrious career with a 22-month government stint of record corruption, from the use of notaries from within his firm to act as government notaries, to choosing district supporters as employees at the National Swimming Pool.
MLP Secretary-General Jimmy Magro says there had been no discussions between the MLP executive committee and Notary Joe Cilia, or any form of pressure from the MLP that influenced Dr Cilia’s decision not to contest the forthcoming elections.
