And isn’t Evarist to be involved, minister for ‘work’, whatever that means, or did he purse his lips and look away as soon as Tonio was mentioned?
What is this, Musumeci’s sham applied? It’s ridiculous.
Instead of spending money on controversial promises, Joseph Muscat should do what Gonzi PN did. He invested money to save jobs.

My reading of that statement is less literal than yours.
The minister seems to imply that it is unlikely that such a decision was taken last week and that it is probable that the pervious administration was at least aware, if not already asked for help.
Rubbish, If Cardona were on it, he’d have called Tonio Fenech for any possible briefing before blurting out his wishful thinking.
What we have here is an idiot in a total panic. What next, blame Tonio?
Either these morons get down to business or these bloopers will become weekly instalments.
The permanent secretary should have briefed him, oh sorry I forgot that he was fired.

Baxter layoffs, sorry for the guys. Reading Malta Today, Baxter is relocating to Tunisia.
The decision was made some time ago and the GWU did not know anything.
My guess is that Baxter, an American company, was waitimg for the election results. One thing Americans don’t love is Communists.
As soon as the Governement Industry Executive was named, Baxter declared its position.

My thought exactly. Especially, after I read what Harry Purdie wrote in a previous comment under another blog. Americans detest communist leaning governments, and josephmuscatdotcom is just that – a communist leaning movement.

I suppose Super One do not need more than two journalists now because they will not be criticising and lying about the previous government on a 24/7 basis for five years of the previous administration.
They`re all queueing up to be rewarded but the problem is that there aren`t enough posts to go round. But they needn`t worry because Joseph will trump up some useless fancy named roles for them. Problem is that is will all be bloody well funded from our taxes!
