The professional conman and snake oil artist will cover his tracks by throwing the mud over his main competitor.

He is also gifted at passing timely and snide comments behind the back of any up and coming fresh new talent within his own camp, that threatens to outshine him or have him share the limelight in any way.

Such new talent will eventually find itself ruthlessly and mortally wounded, in professional terms.

New-truthing is an art he has learnt from his mentor.

By Joseph’s own admission, Mintoff gave him a roadmap of what to learn and from who.

He did this and followed up.

New-truthing is putting your design of lie lie forward as the truth (dogma) until someone finally manages to knock that lie down off that position. At that point, the snake-oil artist will reluctantly be forced to renegotiate what he promised, re-explain what he said, instill the system of divide and rule with those working or operating around him so that the labyrinth of lies doesn’t get him into a continuous tangle. In this way, he is always able to lay the blame on “someone else,” “a misunderstanding,” “cultural differences,” etc.

The problem is that there are so many lies that one loses track.

Nobody expects a leader or a public person to lie, so nobody is at first willing to believe that he is lying. Only later, after countless incidents of in-your-face-lies you realise that in fact you have already been too lenient with him. But the question is… can you get out?

Those people who support this sort of conman are sucked into the vortex: they need to, or will have to, support the false structure being created by repeating the lies to themselves and others, and creating their own set of lies.

Promises, statements, results, reasons: where will the lying stop, now that it’s started? It’s a very negative vicious circle, that counts on bringing out the worst in people so that these can later be lopped off/ isolated out of the system as and when necessary. It survives on the greed and ambition of others.

It is the basis of all pyramid scams. Joseph is perfecting the art of the snake-oil artist. His media machines will help polish the picture he delivers so that this is perceived as a creaseless one. Those lines and gaps where the lies are now still visible will disappear. What we are seeing with media reporting is the beginning of this.

      I couldn’t be more serious.

Jien nahseb li tal-biki ta’ u mhux tad-dahq. Jien qed nimmagina lil Malta jekk jitilghu l-Lejber fil-Gvern.

    Mur zommha lil Me Shall kemm tberbaq mill-flus tal-poplu ghax trid tibdel l’hawn u l’hemm il-Palazz tal-Girgenti?

U mur zommu lil Joey ehh, min jaf x’karozza jixtri biex idur biha?

U zgur mhux hekk hux, bi flusu zewg oggetti xtara “expensive” Karozza u Hand Bag lil Me Shall.

Ghalhekk bi flus il-poplu jkunu jistghu jixtru affarijiet aktar expensive, ghax id-dar id-daddy tah nofs tieghu hux ghal hekk ma jaf x’jigifieri investiment ghax lanqas fuq bazi personali ma kellu hila jinvesti minn butu.
