Eight days away from D-day and he’s too unwell to turn up to a student debate.

Did you read in The Times why Louis Grech and Toni Abela didn’t turn up to the deputy leaders’ debate at the university yesterday?

Toni Abela had other, more pressing, commitments, and Louis Grech “unwell”.

Bdejna.

And there is the prime minister tonight, apparently with the flu, wiping the floor with Plastic Ken.

There is no way Toni Abela is going to appear in public over the coming week.

With respect to Louis Grech, I think it is about time he realised that no one in Labour is going to thank him for the sacrifice he is making.

I would have thought, that in his condition it would be better to rest and move away from politics. At his age he should have learnt that the true friends are those that do not expect a person to risk their life for them.

[Daphne – Louis isn’t sacrificing anything. He’s in it for himself. The last gasp at glory, and if it fails, he can stay an MEP. He hasn’t resigned his seat yet, remember.]

    Excuses, excuses and more excuses.

So Louis Grech, the rock upon which Joseph Muscat has said he will build his church, is practically out of the race even with eight days still to go to the starting line.

With the greater part of his key personnel discredited, swept under the carpet, or plainly afraid to show themselves in public, the PL is in tatters and is even less in shape to govern, let alone be able to bring the country forward.

Not only is his hair missing today. His eyebrows seem to have disappeared too.

    • Grezz says:

In fact, my first reaction on seeing Muscat on Xarabank this evening was that he plucked his eyebrows.

      Hair today, gone tomorrow.

Seriously, I have followed all the debates but if ever I saw a clear winner, it was definitely Lawrence Gonzi tonight.

I believe that Google maps are seeking to employ Joseph Muscat since he has a roadmap for everything.

After last night’s debate he really needs a road map…..cause he is truly lost.
