“Efforts to contact Dr Gonzi proved futile” – I wonder why

unsavoury

I really don’t think it was the right decision to have this story written by a reporter who made a big show of not voting in the last general election and who then told people (me included) that he did so because he wanted to see the end of Gonzi’s government and complete change in the leadership of the Nationalist Party because his wife didn’t get the job she wanted.

Ivan Camilleri ends his piece with the words “Efforts to contact Dr Gonzi proved futile.” Well, I wouldn’t have wanted to speak to him, either. Would you?

Did Mr. Camilleri’s wife get the job she wanted after 9 March? I doubt it.

Will Ivan go on a hunger strike since Gonzi is ignoring him?
