Hands up, all you women who have been hanging around waiting to be patronised by this 27-year-old pompous village git

Published: May 29, 2013 at 9:54pm

patronised by Silvio Schembri

He is the same age as my sons, and he’s standing there patronising me and all other women by telling us that we should be “given” all rights and opportunities.

Oh, eff off, why don’t you.

It’s the other way round, you ridiculous and antiquated git. It’s thanks to women (and men) like me that people like you have rights and opportunities.

It’s certainly no thanks to your parents, who voted Labour rigorously and fought against EU membership. But I don’t expect “the voice of hunting and trapping” to understand that.

A man of 27, standing about saying pompously that women who have been working since before he was born should be “given” rights and opportunities. By whom, Silvio – by men?

And this is supposed to be the liberal and progressive new generation of Labour. For shame.

Isn’t this guy married? What type of ‘friends’ was he looking for on the internet? It baffles me.

    • My name is Charlie says:

Ronnie Pellegrini is married, too, but it doesn’t stop him flirting on Facebook with other men (like Robert Musumeci), hanging around the tails of Forum Zghazagh Laburisti, and wearing his ‘n’ hers outfits with Jason Micallef.

Who is he talking about ?

My three daughters have had all their rights and opportunities long before he appeared on the scene.

    Thank you very much, Silvio.

Certainly no thanks to you or to your party.

Thanks to a solid, decent Uni under GonziPN, EU membership and, with some humility, thanks to their genes.

They have done much better than you, pompous ass.

    All three of them.

And that in spite of your Y chromosome, if you have one.

    Sur Silvio,

Fi zmien il-Labour kont tisthi tghid li rridu niggildu ghad-drittijiet tan-nisa ghax l-inqas dritt tal-liberta ta’ l-espressjoni ma kellna.

L-universita kienet ghal min kellu l-flus, l-haddiema kellhom l-wage freeze o ‘t-time in lieu.L-ghalliema kienu “locked out” ghal tlettax il-gimgha – b”‘omelija” minn KMB mimlija velenu, kull nhar ta’ Hadd.

    U bil-haqq il-gvern tal-“haddiema” taha ittra lill-ghalliema li fiha kellhom jiffirmaw li ma jobdux id-direttivi tal-MUT.

Min ma ffirmax kien “locked out”.

Kien il-gvern Nazzjonalista li taghna Malta hielsa, xoghol u shubija fl-Unjoni Ewropeja, Viva l-PN u Grazzi Eddie u Gonzi- inthom il-veru salvaturi ta’ Malta.

Don’t be such a patronising arsehole, Silvio. Your insecurities are showing.

Besides, you wouldn’t recognise an intelligent woman if one hit you in the balls with her copy of The Economist.

Token Muslim lady with head scarf, check.

Good number of women in audience, check.

Young people seated in strategically visible positions, check.

The Great Leader sitting humbly somewhere in the 2nd row, check.

OK everyone, let’s make this picture look spontaneous.

      Where is the token black?

[Daphne – You’ll have to go to his Facebook page for that. There is one, believe me.]

I do not have a Facebook account, I refuse to open one.

I find the idea of volunteering my personal information and photos on a website for the world to see as a very stupid idea.

  7. Ghoxrin Punt says:

Since 1987, I have had all the rights and all the opportunities that have brought me to where I am now, one of those still on the 35% tax rate.

Sod off, idiot. You only demean women when you make these statements.

And interestingly enough they always come from men, who seem to think that we need them to get to where we are.
