Somebody’s mashed up (well, we are talking about potatoes here) the three YouTube videos which went viral in Malta this week: the Malta Tourist Board spoof of the Southern Comfort/Whatever’s Comfortable ad, Malta Derby Potatoes, and Chiara’s In My Zarbun.

Just in case you missed them, it’s about these:

Everything seems mashed up as of late. I am incredulous as to how every single morning I open the papers and there is some new appointment of some department or otherwise, with some incompetent loser.

OK excuse my ignorance here, but are the last three videos for real? Or have I missed something?

[Daphne – Chiara’s In My Zarbun: real. Malta Derby Potatoes: real. Charlie/Welcome to Malta: the film is real but the commentary is a spoof. But it’s not a Malta Tourist Board film; it’s a Southern Comfort advertisement https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ygeWsoYYMuQ ]

What that ‘ Chalie guy needs to do is peel and thick julienne slice that potato then deep fry it in genuine hot lard.

Then serve it piping hot in that Judy Garland ruby slipper to Jason Micallef, with some creamy mayo.
