Il-hatra ta’ Jason Micallef bhala chairman tal-Valletta 2018 hi l-aghar reklam li l- gvern Malti seta jaghmel ghall-belt kapitali ta’ pajjizna. Jason Micallef ma ghandhux il-hiliet u l-gharfien mehtieg ghal din il-kariga responsabbli minn progett importanti hafna ghal pajjizna.

Il-Prim Ministru Muscat, maqbud f’morsa – b’ghazla tieghu stess – ceda quddiem il-pressjoni ta’ Jason Micallef u fil-process umilja u rredikola lil pajjizna.

Muscat qed juza l-poter li ghandhu bhala Prim Ministru biex jindirizza kwestjoniijiet personali – tieghu u ta’ madwaru.

Din il-kariga kienet okkupata mill-perit David Felice, bniedem denju u kwalifikat ghal din il-kariga. Mhux biss kien zball li Muscat nehha lil Felice, imma ma setax jaghzel aghar meta mar ghal Jason Micallef.

Il-hatra ta’ Jason Micallef bhala chairman ta’ Valletta 2018, u l-ghazla ta’ Jose’ Herrera bhala segretarju parlamentari responsabbli mill-kultura, ma jawguraw xejn tajjeb ghall-qasam kulturali f’pajjizna.

So Jason Micallef was not good enough as Labour Party secretary-general, but he’s good enough to run Valletta 2018. Amazing.

    • MojoMalti says:

The government will deny it, but they’re changing the name of the event too. It’s VENDETTA 2018.

  2. Dez says:

Barely two months since this government has been elected and the devastating consequences are already beyond unbearable.

  3. Pepe` says:

    U Kenneth ser jibqa biz-z**b.

  4. PWG says:

Once Labour was elected, against my better judgement I was prepared to give them the benefit of the doubt.

I’m sure Kenneth Zammit Tabona and the rest of them feel let down by this sort of behaviour, when they gave Labour their unconditional and outspoken support.

Labour couldn’t possibly do worse than the Nationalists, they reasoned, and they will probably do better. But they’ve managed to reach the pits in under two months.

  5. george grech says:

U mela dan Jason jifhem fiz-z**b ta’ kultura…kultura taz-z**b gejja.

    • Calculator says:

Someone actually commented: “Bendy buses rediculed the country!!!!”

Methinks that if this is the deepest cultural awareness and argumentation we can get from Labourites, they honestly do see no harm in letting Jason have a go.

Well if you want to make a change you have simply have to sign this petition… After all they say they are listening to the people so here is the chance

  7. Francesca says:

It’s all about standards. They simply have no moral or intellectual standards at all. Anything and anyone will do.

  8. Mrs M says:

Where is Helena Dalli? I remember a Bondi + programme on meritocracy and how with a Labour government everyone will get posts depending on his/her abilities. And Jason, gets this appointment based on what exactly?

  9. Even the Labour Party supporters thought that Jason Micallef was not good enough to represent them in parliament.

  10. Tinu says:

Newspapers are in duty bound to ask Kenneth Zammit Tabona for his opinion on the appointment of Jason Micallef as Chairman of Valletta 2018.

[Daphne – They should ask Franco Debono, too – and Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando, who has taken to telling us all about his pussies on Facebook. And no, not the sort that his friend Ignatius waxes for a living.]

  11. r pace bonello says:

What is the problem? He will be working under the supervision of David Felice. Amazing, to say the least.
