Labour buys the silence of another one of its renegades

Social Policy Minister Marie Louise Coleiro Preca has announced the composition of the new Housing Authority board. The chairman is a retired nurse and Labour mayor of Ta’ Xbiex, Antoinette Vassallo (imma she’s a woman, ta..).
She’s also been married for a very long time to renegade Labour ex MP Adrian Vassallo, who fell out with Joseph Muscat loudly and publicly some months ago, gave interviews about his woes, and then suddenly fell silent, despite saying that he wouldn’t stand for election again.
Another Anglu-Farrugia-type buy-out, using public funds and a public position, while Coleiro Preca parades it as the advancement of women (to gag their husbands…).

Laqwa li she’s a wimin
Jobs for the girls…
Mrs. Adrian Vassallo. Another mouth shut.
Exactly, she didn’t even take her post as councillor in the Ta’ Xbiex Local Council after the last elections since the candidate backed by the Muscat clique tipped her to the mayorship post. She didn’t even take the oath of office together with the other councillors.
I was reading that Andrew Azzopardi has been hired as a consultant for the goverment for disabilities. I am sure he is a competent chap but the job should have been given to a person wiith a disability.
A giant ego is a disability.
Exactly right.
One wonders why such giant egos are so abundant in Malta – is it the macho/Mediterranean culture, the Lilliput mentality, or island insularity?
It’s the audience. It’s always the bloody audience. Malta’s giant egos have one thing in common – they all had greatness thrust upon them. None of them achieved greatness. And none were born great.
Look at it objectively. We have a lecturer in a cop-out pseudo-subject in a two-bit university on the edge of North Africa, broadcasting to an audience of 400,000 max, discussing events on a rock fourteen miles by nine, and interviewing more two-bit nobodies. How great is that?
This is a government with disabilities so it really does need a consultant
Just like the commission for active aging. Any old person on that board? The chairman is in his late 30s, or early 40s. The others range between late 30s, early 50s.
you talk as if the prisons should be run by ex-convicts …
Is Marisa Micallef still waiting for her iced bun?
She ate it some time ago.
Can one recycle iced buns which have been eaten already?
She could always try a spot of coprophagy.
Anyone ever seen Marie Louise Coleiro smile or look happy?
No, she always looks and talks as if it’s the end of the world.
Eternal grimace.
She’s like the feast of Our Lady of Sorrows all-year-round.
You’re absolutely right. Basta il-PN negattiv. Coleiro’s always scowling and whinging.
How can Marie Louise smile at the disaster found in the ministry she has taken over ???????
Oh really, and what disaster? She was born with that smirk, my dear.
No job for Antonella tas-Snobby?
V-18. We were told that Jason is an expert in the audio-visual business.
I`m sorry but this Minister is by far the worst of the sorry lot.
I wonder when the Ellul/Kev iced bun is going to be given and what form it’ll take… or has it ALREADY?
I am convinced that the really juicy bits are being awarded and all we’re actually seeing are the titbits.
You forgot to mention Alfred Grixti’s younger brother, Ivan, was also rewarded for his unending fixation with Labour.
You must be kidding, what about” shame on you” Konrad.
She is a retired nurse, former mayor of Ta’ Xbiex and wife of a Labour ex rebel ex MP. These are enough qualifications for the post of Chairman of the Housing Authority. This is called meritocracy. Veru Malta Taghna BIss.
Marie Louise Coleiro is loved a lot by PL supporters and obtains a considerable number of votes because of the fact that she goes out of her way to help them obtain what they need, and at all costs.
But she does this only for PL supporters cause all the rest of the population does not exist for her. She has exactly the same reasoning like Mintoff.
Min mhux maghan kontra taghna.
