Ronnie Pellegrini must be absolutely thrilled at his soul-mate Jason’s appointment
Jason Micallef and Ronnie Pellegrini – the GWU man who was Lorry Sant’s sidekick – are more or less inseparable. Well, you can separate them, of course. There’s no Superglue there, but they love each other’s company and have even been seen together (by me) in toning, coordinated, ‘his ‘n’ his’ suits and ties.
And they’re both bosom buddies of Consuelo Herrera, sister to the man (Jose Herrera) who appointed Jason Micallef.
Given that the words ‘total and absolute Philistine’ were invented to describe people like these two, I wonder what the government’s real intention is in having Valletta 2018 in such poor hands. If it’s a simple favour to Jason Micallef, then they can’t really understand what’s it all about, and what’s involved, or maybe they just don’t care.
But I think it might be time to ask yet again what exactly it is that Jason Micallef seems to have over Joseph Muscat, that he gets his own way all the time no matter how much resistance is put up to his demands at first.

Maybe he knows about a tadpole or two that got away.
Yes, seen last enjoying themselves with the manneken pis.
Let’s just say “nepotism”
“But I think it might be time to ask yet again what exactly it is that Jason Micallef seems to have over Joseph Muscat, that he gets his own way all the time no matter how much resistance is put up to his demands at first.”
Lorry Sant had a brown envelope full of photographs.
One must not forget that Jason was involved in the Muscat-Abela party leadership election. Could it be that Jason had some influence on the final result?
[Daphne – For a hold in the present and future, you need a hold in the present and future, and not a hold in the past.]
Ciccio, you’re the political scientist here. Can you table a USB flash drive in parliament?
C’e’ puzza di merda.
Maybe he has info on a runaway coconut?
Could it be that since Jose Herrera is manifestly less than thrilled with the portfolio given to him by Joseph Muscat, he got his own back by appointing the man that annoys and embarasses Muscat the most?
