Tony Zahra gets his iced bun

Tony Zahra, who took to Labour’s igloo in the election campaign and told us to vote Labour for cheaper water and electricity, has got his iced bun.
The Minister for Lapdancing, Chris Cardona, has appointed him chairman of Malta Industrial Parks. And guess what? One of the board members is that Joshua Zammit, the very man who had the Malta Employers Association rush to praise and recommend the Labour Party’s proposals for a new power station – before they were approved by the other members and without their consent or approval – at the start of the election campaign.
Another board member is Michael Vella Haber, former chairman of Super One.
So predictable.

And what exactly will this one contribute to Malta’s industrial parks? Valet parking?
He will order an INFESTIGATION on the invasion of cockroaches and will recommend his pest control company to exterminate.
Is one of the ex Labour billboards being used for the purpose on the Birkirkara by-pass?
Tony Zahra must be a very happy man now that the Monti hawkers will be moved to the Valletta entrance because they make a great tourist attraction.
He might now call for another national conference about the impact of monti hawkers on tourism and the economy.
Probably he does not care as his personal interests will not be impacted. His hotel is not located in Valletta.
I think this time the appointment is for Mr Zahra to keep his mouth shut on hunting. This is a new way of government, you see – scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours.
Isn’t this the same Tony Zahra who recently recommended a national conference about the impact of hunting on tourism and the economy? I wonder if he was head-hunted for the job at the Repubblika ta’ Malta Industrial Parks.
Check out Anita Mangion (nee Cardona). This one (relative of John Dalli) is very special. She got iced buns from both parties thanks to her relation.
