After a whirlwind romance, Labour MEP Joseph Cuschieri has announced his forthcoming nuptials on Facebook.
Her name is Rosalie Ellul. He proposed, she said Yes, and he rushed to post an item on his Timeline.
Congratulations, Mr Cuschieri.
Now here’s some advice from a woman, in the interests of your future happiness and contentment. Your bride-to-be has chosen a Facebook profile picture which shows her with her great love.
The problem is, so have you.
Change it at once, because she may say nothing now, but if you don’t know to change it spontaneously, you’ll be hearing about it during every row between now and your 20th wedding anniversary.

Issa naghmlu gabra ta’ nixtrulu rigal sabih. Kemm hu romantiku madoff. I proposed and she said yes. And they lived happily ever after.
End of Story
I will never understand why people insist on putting their private life on display like this.
It’s called exhibitionism.
Guess who the caterers are?.
May show some cost cuttings.
Il-catering tat-tieg se jaghmluh id-depot tal-Pulizia tghid?
U r-risepxin il-Girgenti.
Hopefully he’ll quit politics and devote his time to his family.
Actually Joseph is a very kind, nice boy with a superb character, caring, altruistic and helpful towards everyone irrespective of political colour and in particular his fellow PL candidates………then he wakes up and spoils it all.
He can ask Mallia to provide the catering services for his wedding while Joseph and Michelle put Girgenti Palace at his disposal (they owe him).
For the honeymoon, just put the couple on a plane as part of a government delegation, like when Alex Sceberras Trigona went to Australia with his wife after they got married, accompanying President Agatha Barbara on an official visit.
Hold your horses everyone. Last time he was in a relationship, it didn’t last more than a month… and this was only last year.
