  1. Fran says:

    Is this man for real?

  2. etil says:

And they have the gall to say that the appointments are not for diehard Labourites or Mintoffians. Who are the other new ambassadors?

  3. Jozef says:

So he got his education under Mintoff’s care eh? Mature student mid-dehra.

Bit schizophrenic as well, mangia santi if the demochristian’s Maltese, stateman if the surname’s Andreotti.

Oh well, Ghaddafi had just lost it in 1986, shooting missiles at Lampedusa and actually missing.

Mintoff’s Labour by then was a cacophany of pragmatic terzomondisti, make that institutionalised nix mangiari. Led by a man with a floorbrush stuck to his head. Those were the days when the greatest ‘trade agreement’ was being allowed to open an Ixtri Malti supermarket in Tripoli.

    Sucker.

  4. Paddling Duck says:

I didn’t expect anything else anyway. The look on JosephMuscst.com’s face on The ‘hope and happiness’ post photo, looks more like constipation and smugness combined.

  5. Sparrow says:

Let us all hope that he can get by in French this time round. He’s had 15 years to practise.

  6. Francis Saliba M.D. says:

What prodigious qualifications for a Malta ambassador posted to Paris – even a Hollande type of Paris.

  7. Lupin says:

Does this man have an opinion? All he does is share someone else’s links. Will make a great ambassador indeed.

  8. anthony says:

It’s funny he mentions Mintoff’s meeting with Andreotti.

He might have helped him with the meeting but he certainly did not help him cut a good figure with the veteran Italian politician.

Andreotti habitually referred to Mintoff as “quel venditore di tappeti”.

Any further comment would be superfluous.

  9. The Phoenix says:

A natural f**king idiot, and a geriatric to boot. Still thinks he can get it up for good old Tanya, can he?

    Maybe Paris will help.

    Malta Taghna Lkoll.

  10. Plutarch says:

Mintoffjan imqadded bil-pedigree. Dak privilegg li kellu marelli!

Ghax ma tmurx tindifen ma’ Mintoff tieghek, Vincent, mela Parigi.

  11. Victor says:

Love the one with the title “Just look at the children’s eyes. They speak volumes”. Yes, they are totally flabbergasted at seeing daddy kissing the cross.

  12. Paul Bonnici says:

This is a political appointee like previous ambassadors, or rather high commissioners, appointed by the PN such as the UK.

What I disagree with, is his narrow minded attitude towards the LP and childish behaviour online unbecoming an ambassador.

  13. G. Borg says:

Looks like this guy, from what I read above, has been living in cuckooland for ages. He wants his grandchildren to grow up in corruption-free country.

Thank God his grandchildren were not around in the ’70s and ’80s. Pappija issa, Sur Camilleri, la gietek l-okkazzjoni qabel ma tmur tiltaqa terga ma’ siehbek Mintoff.

  14. gozitano says:

“I am proud and happy that my vote contributing to Labour’s astounding victory will guarantee that my grandchildren will live in a society freed from corruption, arrogance and political discrimination.”…Vincent Camilleri

That’s already a big slip right there Mr. Camilleri and that is only in less than 3 months.

  15. Calculator says:

That ambassadors are political appointees is nothing new and hardly kept secret, but to have an ambassador parading such nonsense online is just unacceptable.

  16. jojo says:

    He is a pathetic person.
