Questions to the Police Commissioner

I’m told that my colleagues at The Malta Independent have sent questions to the Police Commissioner about the outside catering services he is now providing to the cabinet minister who appointed him.

He has not yet replied.

I can’t wait to read what he says – perhaps it will be in the Sunday edition, unless he takes off for the beach to celebrate Imnarja tomorrow.

I imagine he shares his political peers’ view of how to treat scrutiny from journalists.

You should have heard him answer Net TV yesterday – he was so arrogant.

  2. ciccio says:

Please, let us give the Minister for the Army, Broadcasting, National Security, the Police and Outside Catering some time to reply.

  3. Peter Mercieca says:

I heard him claim on the radio that the police actually offered their catering services themselves, and he put it to his audience in such a way that would have one believe these coppers were doing it out of a pure sense of duty.

How honorable, jahasra. They never got the chance to go to ITS, so they joined the force instead.

I wonder if the do kiddy parties and weddings. They might be cheaper than the usual caterers.

    • Calculator says:

Now that would be great PQ: ‘Do you do kids’ parties and weddings?’

    • C Falzon says:

Police catering services: ideal for wedding receptions, seeing that at so many weddings the police have to be called to deal with fights. So much better if they are already there.

I bet he’s on leave today. It’s his birthday, the eve of the feast of St Peter and St Paul.

  5. Censu says:

The Police Force should now change its motto to “Domine Dirige Nos Servimus”.

  6. Tim Ripard says:

You should give them a slot in ‘Taste’.
