So how about a first-100-days press conference by William Mangion and Frederick Testa?

How about that, Willie? Found any good garages, yet? Your petrol bill must be enormous. And what about that Frederick, eh? He must be exhausted, the poor thing, consulting on teledrammi all day long. The facial expressions people wear in Maltese soap operas are such a downer that he’s probably slitting his wrists even as we speak, while listening to the umpteenth pseudo-bourgeois housewife scream “Le, le! La titlaqni qatt, Gorg!”

How would one translate that billboard’s message into English?

Maybe what it really says is: “this movement (ie: the Labour Government) will put you in your place”.

    • ciccio says:

Alternatively, it may mean “Everyone will get a place with this movement.” Hence his appointment to look around for garages.

You by now must have heard about the dog whisperer and even about the horse whisperer.

        But thanks to Joseph

He has truly become “the garage whisperer”.

  2. Ketchup says:

Has any hotel engaged Willie now that the tourism industry has picked up under Karmenu Vella and Tony Zahra?

Poor fellow, he had to switch to the Reds, to be given a Thank You Job…..but still without using his vocal chords.

  3. observer says:

Frazi nieqsa mill-billboard ta’ William Mangion :- ” ANKI IDJOTA BHALI”?

  4. Dickens says:

When in Maltese we say that ”X or Y iqedek f’postok” , it is usually a ”trick” not a ”treat”.

  5. TROY says:

Two losers in search of nothing.

Two vultures preying on the taxpayer’s money.

I do hope that all those switchers that voted for ‘il-bidla’ can now reap the fruit of their betrayal.

Just imagine two low-life vultures like these two getting over 500 euro a WEEK for doing F all and it is people who wanted to have ‘a change’ that made all this possible.

  6. Joe Fenech says:

    Who’s this Testa bloke?

As to Mangion’s post – IT IS HILARIOUS. If the nation’s toughies can’t even find a garage for their band, I can’t see them becoming tomorrow’s Led Zeppelin.

  7. Joe Fenech says:

Mangion is a failed so-called singer. He failed in his career and first resorted to god, then to the PL.
