FASCISTS AND RACISTS FOR JOSEPH – the first demonstration is scheduled for this Sunday

Published: July 12, 2013 at 1:25pm

And it’s no coincidence that they’ve reworked the Nazi banner as their own. There’s such a liberal feeling in the air, isn’t there?

Apparently, the demonstration this Sundy is going to just “a simple quack” while on the 4th August it’s going to be “a ferocious roar”.

Hone your pitchforks, darlings. The progressive liberals are heading our way.

    “Viva Malta Taghna”.
Well said; the far right has found refuge in the Labour Party.

  2. Liberal says:

Let’s see Joseph disassociate himself from this one. Of course, he won’t, the National Socialist that he is.

    • Liberal says:

Thankfully he did realise it would make matters much worse for him if he supported the National Socialist protest. I wasn’t quick enough to notice.

  3. Tabatha White says:

4th August must have something to do with Mintoff’s birthday?

  4. M... says:

The outcome of irresponsible behaviour by our leaders has managed to feed and fuel this mess.

  5. Calculator says:

No wonder Labour hates the heroes of WWII. They’re bringing in the same forces the latter fought against through the back door.

  6. Gary Jameson says:

However, if you are a student who is female, blonde, pretty and wears tight shorts. Welcome to Malta.

    • Mark says:

You don’t have to be a student. You can be a whore infected with STIs and opening your legs to Maltese men. No one ever complained about that…

  7. Jozef says:

Muscat’s just managed to legitimise the skinheads, bringing them into mainstream politics.

Labour should set up a new section, being an amorphus movement.

Is it possible that a member of the European Socialists cannot find anyone within itself to issue a statement distancing itself from this frenzy?

They never cease to amaze me.

  8. Chris Portelli says:

Will our beloved liberal JPO be there?

  9. ciccio says:

    “Viva Malta Taghna…lkoll.”

Don’t forget to bring along the swastikas.

  10. Joseph's sense of British Humour says:

“Demostrazzjoni favur il-gvern Malti kontra l-Immigrazzjoni illegali.”

WOW. The Nazis are with Joseph, and Joseph is with the Nazis. And he is trying to disassociate himself, now.

    Moviment progressiv u liberali.

  11. True Maltese says:

Are they going to wear their logo on a red armband while goose marching down Republic street? The Army minister will be proud of them.

    • Weird no ? says:

Don’t tell me you are imagining the army minister marching with the goose step ? He would need help getting up again from his ass on the floor with the first step.

  12. Zeppo says:

Joseph and Manuel have stirred a hornet’s nest.

  13. roundhead says:

Possibbli m’għandhom lil ħadd li jaf jikteb il-Malti sew? Kif iddardart nara l-Malti miktub ħażin kullimkien. Il-biljuni li ntefqu fl-edukazzjoni kienu biljuni mitfugħa fiż-żibel.

    Il-kontenut, iżda, dardarni bil-wisq iżjed.

  14. Michael Seychell says:

The M/L.P – or rather Joseph Muscat – decided to start calling itself a Movement and insisted that they are not a political party anymore, therefore everyone may join HIS ‘Moviment’.

I had written comments in the sense that you cannot eliminate political parties, and reminded the people that this had happened in Mussolini’s and Hitler’s time when they formed their movements – one Il Movimento Faxxista and the other the Nazi Movement.

When this happened some 70 years ago, the Constitutional Party (Stricklands’s Party) and the Workers Party worked hard in order to keep fascism away from our island, and later on they were joined by the GWU which was formed in 1943.

Today it had to be the Leader of the Labour Party Dr. Joe Muscat who had himself stated that for him ‘The End Justifies The Means’, sold and turned his party’s soul into a ‘movement’.

I had written more that once that any such Movement will inevitably became a fascist party, and this is what is happening, so much so that persons like Norman Lowell, Malcolm Seychell; and Joe Meli – who are well known fascists – have expressed themselves in favour of Dr. Muscat’s stance on the immigration issue.

I urge the true Labour Party members of parliament, officials, members of the party executive and supporters to stand up and be counted by objecting to all of this and finding out what the Labour Party really stands for, and by making sure it starts to function like a political party and not a ‘movement’.

The MLP should carry out a thorough check on some of those joined and voted for the ‘movement’- whether these are genuine in ther aim or are they waiting for the time to declare their Party as a true Fascist Party as happened in Italy under Mussolini.

I have written this as a true Democratic Socialist who chose to join the P.N since I consider it as more left of centre than the Labour ‘movement’.

    • Jozef says:

A political party needs a clear structure and a secretary general. Muscat dismantled any checks and balances.

His campaign was built on avoiding issues and leaving questions by the press unanswered, ‘fil-mument propizju’ had become the standard.

They should have seen it coming, as relying on elvish ‘opinion’. Never was Labour so distant from anything it ever was.

At the moment, it’s Muscat propped by two ‘ex-nationalists’. The language’s alien to an extent that only a TV channel can pull off. Which is what Labour is anyway.

What’s really scary, is that Muscat seems to go by preconcepts and that Labour’s central core is ineffective in discussing these. There’s simply nothing between extremes, just him and his tweets.

Where that leaves politics, is too horrendous to consider.

    • ciccio says:

      You are right, Mr. Seychell.

A “moviment” is only put together to create a mass, to bulldoze over the rights of any dissenting minority. It is a philosophy of grandeur and power, arrogance, eternalism and absolutism.

It reaches its climax with a dictatorship.

Now add to that sheer incompetence, and you have a recipe for disaster.

    • Watchful eye says:

Well said Michael. If this is not an eye opener, than I do not know what is.

In the last debate on TVM on the eve of the general elections, Joe Muscat finished his intervention by declaring that political parties have no more space in Maltese politics.

And I said to myself that this is the begining of the end of democracy if the Malta Labour Party wins. Well, we are heading that way.

  15. di says:

Il-Maltin taghna ta’ Malta taghna lanqas jispellu bil-Malti taghna ma jafu…Viva l-identita’

  16. Colin Zammit Lupi says:

How ironic that these fascists are using the Maltese cross as their symbol, when it is largely associated with the Knights Hospitaller, a European religious order which came to Malta (uninvited by the Maltese) and whose original aim was to provide care for the poor, wounded or invalid pilgrims to the Holy Land.

What ignorant hypocrites! I would laugh if it wasn’t so tragic.

    • Valter Cassar says:

Mr.Zammit, you forgot to mention one thing, the Knights were European and they provided medical care to European pilgrims. The ottoman Invaders and pirates were sieged by the military might of the Knights of St.John.

We were protected from frequent pirate raids and fortified our towns. We did not send our naval force to pick up boatloads of african immigrants and share our grain with them.

The only irony I see is that this time, our European cousins are not protecting us but even worse, are working against the national interest.

[Daphne – Us, Mr Cassar? Many, if not most, Maltese are the descendants of slaves captured by the Knights of St John and other corsairs and sold in the markets here in Malta.]

      • Snoopy says:

The knights used to treat both pilgrims as well as Turkish attackers.

As for the Maltese, though of absolutely no importance to the discussion in progress, we are mainly the descendants of Italian sailors, masons and pirates and Maltese women (descendants of Siculo Arabs – so actually a good Southern/Cental Mediterranean mix.

      • Valter Cassar says:

It is a fact that we are of Sicilian descent, I highly doubt the Knights imported or captured Sicilian slaves.
…Now i don’t know whether or not you consider yourself to be of Ottoman descent.

[Daphne – Slaves in Malta were Jewish or Muslim. It didn’t matter a jot where they were from. It was the religion that mattered.]

      • Colin Zammit Lupi says:

Mr Cassar, my point is that it is ironic that certain Maltese citizens, critical of the EU, are against unwanted foreigners coming to our island whilst using a symbol belonging to a group of former European ‘masters’ who were not invited and were, initially at least, unwanted and whose mission TODAY is to help the poor, sick, refugees etc, irrespective of religion or nationality.

  17. CIS says:

Let them come out on Sunday and be counted.

  18. bookworm says:

So, their first demonstration coincides with Bastille Day. I don’t see any celebration of liberté, égalité, and fraternité here.

  19. Charlie says:

    Hail to our Commander-in-Chief

  20. Sapiens says:

At least he kept one promise he made when he was elected leader of the Labour Party. He promised a ‘terremot’ and he managed. The Labour Party now is Ultra Nationalist in the worst sense.

I pity you Joseph. You wanted to a visionary young leader who would have sparked a new enlightenment. Alas you turned out to be a petty villiage politician, whose sole aim is to be popular with the ‘cwiec maltin’.

The only thing that will remember of you is the joy and jubilation they felt when they saw you walking out of Castille for the last time.

Taghna lkoll .. how dare you include me in such a mess.

    Tieghi, le.

  21. Adrian says:

They are so fond of the Maltese language, they don’t even bother to write it properly.

  22. Nina says:

They love their country so much and they’re ever so proud of their nationality that they can’t even write its language correctly.

  23. DAVE says:

So people who have an opinion cannot express themselves, I see the LIBERAL and the people against Racism being the NAZIS as they want to oppress those different than them,

  24. LISTEN THIS IS SUCH BULLSHIT, JUST BECAUSE YOU PROTEST DOES NOT MAKE YOU RACEIST JUST BECAUSE YOU DISAGREE WITH SOMETHING DOES NOT MAKE YOU RACEIST.
