I’m guessing we are never going to read an interview with the Prime Minister’s wife, describing how this particular friend dropped in for an impromptu chat and some gingerbread men.
Do you remember this video in the election campaign? It was all a set-up job, with Jeremy Portelli – the ‘hunter’ in question – operating to instructions by Labour’s campaign team.
And who did they choose to do it? The father of murdered cocaine trafficker L-Imniehru’s grandchild, born just a year earlier. This Labour hero, seen here being congratulated by prime minister Joseph Muscat, fathered a child by one of Mario Camilleri’s daughters.
She moved in with him and his mother (need we say more) but moved out again shortly afterwards, claiming that he beat her and bullied her horribly, which says rather a lot more than it would usually do about a man given the attendant risks of who her father and brother were.
She then sought and found employment, claiming that when she moved out, he refused to maintain the child.
A nice hero all round for the Labour Party to use in its campaign, and for the prime minister to be associated with.

The Labour party and the Labour government are replete with individuals who look like this guy’s clone. They are in all ministries, all over Facebook singing Joseph’s praises and blogging in favour of each and every move the government makes … incredible really.
