“John Dalli has made too much fuss about this already. He should just let it go and let us legislate in peace.”

After targeting Kessler and Barroso, it is now the turn to discredit Mr. Barry Connor, a resident and property owner at the Bahamas.
http://www.timesofmalta.com/articles/view/20130703/local/dalli-speaks-of.476472
Mr. Connor is the person who leased a property to the daughter of Mr. Dalli, and who according to Dalli, “used to visit the house practically every day and, at least when I was present, participated in the discussions that were taking place very openly about a philanthropic project that they wanted to develop.”
Therefore, Mr. Connor must know a lot of things about Dalli’s business in the Bahamas.
Can a journalist from the media contact Mr. Connor asap and see what he knows about the Dalli business there?
‘John Dalli in a statement issued by his daughter Claire, said this afternoon that the landlord of a house where he had stayed in the Bahamas had sent threatening e-mails to his daughter after she turned down his efforts to set up financial transactions in Malta.’
“When my daughter was asked to help with this she turned him down as the transactions were suspect.”
Now why can’t this man live a normal decent life like most of us?
Why is his daughter sent threatening e-mails?
Why does the landlord he chose in the Bahamas happen to be the holder of a trust?
Why does the landlord he chose in the Bahamas happen to seek suspect transactions?
Why is he always the target of many evil co-conspirators and the victim of continuous abuse and persecution?
Why is this blameless man constantly vilified in this way?
Surely because this is a ghastly world we live in and all humanity is appalling, shocking and hateful.
Well almost all, because he is innocent of course.
This is getting beyond control.
John Dalli now occupies an official position in Malta’s administration and any reflection on his reputation or that of any business enterprise to which he is connected, positive or negative, justified or not, will have an effect on Malta’s reputation. International reputation, I should add, if the allegations spread beyond our shores.
The allegations STARTED beyond our shores.
Beyond?
Out of control you mean.
This story is as close as one can get to a Bollywood movie, and their plots are always exaggerated.
EU Commissioner(ex), travel, Bahamas, tobacco giants, intrigue, lawyers, accused business associate, errant brother, alleged bribes,.. the ending MUST be interesting.
Dalli just engineered a military coup d’etat in Egypt. One way to reduce the heat, eh?
