Playing the national anthem while a raddled old man strips down to his Speedos and a bright red swimming-cap. What hope is there?

With this kind of North Korean leader-worship, there never was much hope for Malta, was there? You can fend them off for a while, but they spend some years amassing their forces and resources and come storming back heavily disguised as the liberation army.
The people who think the national anthem is a highly appropriate sound-track for a home movie of a poxy old man stripping down to ill-advised Speedos while surrounded by thugs and fixers (YouTube upload title: Dom Mintoff Jghum) are very much in the present, and not in any way in the past. This thing was made last May.

As Armstrong skipped the last step of the lunar landing module, China celebrated Mao’s swim across the Yang Tse.

Benito Mussolini was more pragmatic. When he organized the march on Rome, he had himself filmed leading the start of the march, then skived off and took the train while his dimwitted followers actually walked.
Il Duce then again took his place at the head of the march so that he could be filmed for the final bit.
Ever seen the his photo astride a stallion, sword in the air?
The official pic had the Somali attendant holding the horse disappear.

How disgusting.
It appears that Chris Cardona has anger-management issues and finds it difficult to control his temper. In 1997 he had to be physically restrained when he attempted to assault Dom Mintoff after the latter had voted against the Cottonera project in parliament.
That was AST. And he was restrained by J Debono Grech.
The best thing about Duminku Mintoff is that he is dead and buried.
Unfortunately, his legacy still survives in the hearts and minds of persons, many of whom did not even know him when in power.
It actually reminds me more of Fantozzi at the beach

Chris Cardona has always had anger management issues, ever since his University days.
Have you ever seen this?
