Save the Labour Party’s reputation: don’t go to the fascist/racist demo on 4 August

Somebody calling himself Guzi Schembri Il-Majjistra has taken it upon himself to post the same message in response to every one of the 1500+ individuals who said on the relevant Facebook group that they will be going to the demo (hdejn il-Burger King) in Valletta on 4 August.
He must be truly dedicated because it probably took him all day and night.
And I just love the reasoning and passionate motivation, don’t you? Nothing to do with human rights, the rule of law and basic human decency, and everything to do with saving Labour and the PM from brand-damage through direct association with racists and fascists.

L-aqwa li “GHAX IL-PRIM MINISTRU MA JRIDX DEMOSTRAZZJONIJIET”
That statement alone makes the Prime Minister a dictator because only dictators stop demonstrations.
If the demonstation is in favour of the Maltese government, and the true Labourites are not going, then who is going to support the Maltese government?
The (hopefully) rapidly decreasing 36000 switchers?
Oh, are there still any switchers out there?
There weren’t any in Valletta last Sunday for the mock demonstration.
I’ll see you there , then.
(Practises shouting: Joseph, Joseph, Jos …….)
Typical, x’qal il-leader.
Guzi Schembri is obviously assuming that all those going to this racist event are Labour supporters.
They are free to demonstrate, not in his name. First they were saying that they should join forces Labour and Nationalist, now this message which clearly indicates that they were Labour.
They wanted the PN to support Joseph Muscat. Support what? He was saying was “We are keeping all options open”. PN did not know what he had up his sleeve – there was no consultation.
I love the use of “Laburist” instead of “Malti”.
It’s the power of copy-paste. Still it would have taken him all morning to do that however.
Il-prim ministru ma jridx demostrazzjonijiet. Imma jxewwex irid.
At least this appears to realise what’s happening is wrong although his reasoning is totally flawed.
He doesn’t seem to be making the causal link between all these people publicising their racism and xenophobia and his Prime Minister’s de facto go-ahead to them to do so.
The PM is leading by example and they are following him. It’s too late for him to say he doesn’t want demostration against immigration.
Christ, somebody has discovered Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V. Hooray for evolution
Or in Labour speak – Looking good, hon
Guzi jidher li hu habib sew ta’ Mario Farrugia-Borg. Jista jkun li ma kellux ghalfejn jahli gurnata jittajpja il-messaggi hu.
Forsi henn ghalih siehbu u qabbadlu lil xi hadd minn Kastilja jahli l-hin floku.
The paradox is that the right to publicly demonstrate what you’re for or against is usually seen as fundamental to a liberal and progressive free society.
Labour Delivers. Hence the engagement of Guzi Schembri il-Majjistra.

‘wara 17 il-sena li konna ilna ma nixhtu l-vot taghna’ Good timing mate or were you too uncomfortable admitting you’ve been voting Labour ll along.
From the photo on this site he seems to be loading a Water Services vehicle with stuff that seems to be unrelated to an official Water Services assignment but one never really knows

As it happens at the same time as the morning march of St. Dominic’s feast in Valletta. Lots of people in that area.
I will do whatever Joseph asks for
I will do whatever Joseph asks for

Guzi Schembri il-majjistra jew tal-majjistra?
