The Berliner Zeitung is part of the evil conspiracy against Dalli, with the Queen of Bile, The New York Times and Evil Hackers

Berliner

The Berlinger Zeitung is running the Dalli story: DALLI AND THE HUNDRED MILLION.

So it turns out they’re persecuting him too. New York, Berlin, Sweden, Malta, Brussels – this is now an international conspiracy against the poor, martyred resident of 1400 Portomaso.

At long last Andrew realised which side of his bread is buttered.
A very good factual report including a map.

[Daphne – Not at all. He doesn’t write in English. That report is plagiarised in its entirety from Mark Micallef’s in Times of Malta yesterday. Literally cut and paste.]

      • Antoine Vella says:

Andrew’s bread is buttered on both sides. He had better be careful about the cholesterol.

      • H.P. Baxxter says:

I’m surprised he hasn’t been appointed pro-rector of the UOM yet. Sociology gets you places. Being a household name gets you even further.

  1. Catsrbest says:

Instead of disappearing for good, he keeps digging and scraping the bottom. How on earth does he sleep at night?

  2. Joseph Caruana says:

John Dalli & the hundred million.
The government’s latest scheme to get Malta on the map.
    What map? The lawless map.

      The non existent road map

    • Tabatha White says:

      Excellent.

So much for Joseph’s pre-election promise not to interfere with the financial services sector. Malta’s reputation stinks with these hijackers running the country – into the ground.

  3. David says:

As the last paragraph of the article in the German newspaper seems to say, the report in the International Herald Tribune on Mr Dalli is next to a report on the US spying scandal. Is this a coincidence or is there more than meets the eye?

[Daphne – Let’s hope the Americans bugged John Dalli, because at this rate, they might be the only ones who will ever know exactly what Dalli was up to, other than Dalli himself.]

    • Ta' sapienza says:

When you think about his familiar links with Gaddafi and IRISL, it would be utter negligence if they didn’t .

  4. Antoine Vella says:

Joseph Muscat has not – or is pretending not to have – realised that Dalli is now a senior government official. He’s not just a consultant but a politically-appointed official with executive powers so this story reflects badly on the government itself.

The PM cannot remain silent and “wait for developments”: he must either sack Dalli or defend him.

    • H.P. Baxxter says:

      Neither can the PN.

Not that it’d make any difference.

John Paul II has been cleared for sainthood and that will obviously push the Dalli story off the front page in all of the newspapers. The Maltese like to get their priorities in order, bless ’em.

I’m off to slit my wrists a second time.

  5. Mark Vassallo says:

“New York, Berlin, Sweden, Malta, Brussels”
    Don’t you mean:
“New York, Berlin, Sweden, Bidnija, Brussels”

[Daphne – And Valletta, Pieta and now also Floriana, because he thinks even the police have it in for him.]

  6. manum says:

I do apologise for what I am about to say, especially to all those who actually do use their loaf.

Dalli is doing all this because he knows the level of mediocrity of a huge portion of the Maltese.

If it was otherwise it won’t happen, certainly not in Germany, were every little insect is scrutinised.

He would have had to leave the island much earlier than this. I only hope that all those switchers and all those with serene good intentions of paradise within Labour are enjoying their peaceful breakfasts.

  7. Jozef says:

What happens when OLAF’s investigation leads to Malta?

Which it will; Kessler, trained on mafiosi and money laundering, follows the money trail.

Is Joseph willing to use the veto?

    • Cittadin Malti says:

Let’s hope Kessler proceeds with reopening the case. He should investigate the log of all calls made by HuBastjan while he served his prison term in Brussels.

  8. TROY says:

Halluh bi kwietu miskin, kulhadd imqabbad mieghu.

Allura miskin mar il-Bahamas fuq xoghol ta’ karita.
