What does Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando know about scientific research?

The area of ‘expertise’ of Dr Karen Mugliett is Home Economics. Apart from the fact that no serious university remotely considers this as an academic area, can anyone please illuminate us for what credentials in science and/or technology is she appointed on this board? But this is not the only incongruency on this and many other boards too. Was the concept ‘meritocracy’?
