You don’t get ticket stubs on private jets

I wonder what the Law Commissioner thinks. Funny how he hasn't told us yet.

I wonder what the Law Commissioner thinks. Funny how he hasn’t told us yet.

John Dalli has said two things which are in direct conflict, which means that one of them is a lie.

1. He said that he presented his ticket stub for his London/Nassau/London flight to his staff, by mistake, and that’s how they found out about his trip.

2. He also said that when he landed in Nassau, he didn’t even get off the plane but conducted his meetings right there inside it.

There are no ticket stubs for private flights on private jets. If he had a ticket stub, then he flew on a scheduled flight, and London/Nassau would be British Airways.

That means he would not have been allowed to sit on the plane and conduct his meetings while waiting for it to take off again. He would have had to disembark and at least go into the airport’s transit area to wait before embarking again.

So, the ticket stub means a scheduled flight for sure. And waiting on the plane means a private flight/private jet for sure. Which one is the lie?

Given that we know his staff really did see that ticket stub, then the lie would be that he didn’t get off the plane.

You know, these matters of lies and so forth have taken a very far behind second place in my mind.

To me, the biggest news in all of this is that there is no news from anyone in Malta.

This only serves to reinforce my view of how deep the tentacles actually reach.

If there is silence, then people cannot be blamed for reaching such conclusions.

I think it’s funny how Saviour Balzan has not prepared one of those video blogs in which he speaks to the Law Commissioner for hours to see what he thinks.

This deafening silence all around us. Where`s Everybody? Or is it omerta`. Something reminds me of Eyes wide shut prelude.

Astonishing isn’t it ? It would seem that the government, the opposition, the police, and all the local media think that all this will just go away or is some kind of a joke ?

I find their silence shocking, to say the least.

This is taken from tripadvisor with respect to transit through Nassau airport.

From what I can gather, you would have to clear immigration and customs as well as completing a landing card even if you are in transit.

Also, your passport will be stamped by immigration.

My bet is that he had to get off the plane whether private or not.

Maybe he told them “Don’t you know who I am? EU Commissioner J Dalli BA.”
