The prime minister, Mrs Muscat and their daughters flew to Venice yesterday, there to board the cruise-liner MSC Divina (Malta agent: Norman Hamilton, who has just been appointed Malta’s High Commissioner in London).

Il-Prim Ministru Mintoffjan aktar jiehu vaganzi milli jahdem. Ara kif trid jimxi il-quddiem dan il-pajjiz.
U meta ‘jahdem’ qabel l-ghaxra ma jidhirx.
Of course he does – Keith Schembri is running the show and sometimes calls it-tifel for a stage managed event.
Good for him!
They all suck the system when they are in power!
Enjoy !
With Edward Zammit Lewis and Lady Elena in tow, I’m sure. Lady Elena of “Maaaaa what a lot of hamalli there were” fame. I’d love to meet her after the kruz. Sic transit…
Nahseb cash hallas il-Prim.
I sincerely hope that the prime minister is not also the recipient of iced buns.
He’s the baker of iced buns – can give himself as many as he wants.
A prime minister on a cruise rather than a private holiday? Does he join the queues in the dining-room and line up by the pool? Does he follow the tour groups? He hasn’t strayed far from the Burmarrad lack of decorum I see. The suit and the titles are like putting lipstick on an ever increasingly fattened pig.
No the prime minister and entourage do not queue to dine they are served on a private floor which you pay extra for
MSC cruises are not known for their well-behaved clientele. Seasoned cruise-goers all over the world avoid MSC and Costa.
Jisthajjlux Leonardo di Caprio fuq it-Titanic? Mur ghidilhom li dak Peppi ta’ Burmarrad.
He acts like Leonardo di Caprio when in Malta. In fact, Malta is quickly heading towards the iceberg under his leadership.
Min jaf hallasx jew marx b’xejn il-prim.
I bet my bottom euro that on their way to Malta they will once again delay the flight.
Missu jiltaqa ma xi dghajsa ta l-emigranti u jordna lill-kaptan biex jwassalum il-Libja

From this timetable one can deduce that he will be back in Malta on the 1st of September. I hope he’s pumping iron at the gym, but I think we’ll see those extra kilos he gained from the cruise buffet tables, in the wreath laying ceremony on the 8th September .
BTW : when is he going to give us back the leave when a holiday falls on a weekend? Remember: “Gurnata leave misruqa lil-haddiem minn gvern Nazzjonalista!”?
Who knows which latest book Michelle Muscat took with her to read on the cruise?
Or which latest fashion in clothes? Can’t wait to see the photos?
Strange that when the Muscats take a cruise, Hamilton is always the local agent. Are they alone on the cruise or with the bella compania of the Kascos and Zammit Lewises?
