Godfrey is the only one not wearing a tie. Maybe it is some form of disrespect for Muscat.
He just sat there as Muscat put the blame for the current situation at Mater Dei squarely on him.
In Gozo, bedridden patients were left three days without a bath or clean sheets, AC switched off, in this stifling heat.
And patients’ relatives had to help in washing the floors of the wards due to lack of staff.
Since he is no longer the effective Minister of Health, he thought he might as well dress down.
As Muscat was going to pontificate about the waste of tax payer’s money by the health services, Dalli didn’t wish to add to the heaps of ridicule he is in.
After all he was Minister for Finance and Minister for Health.
