Michael Farrugia’s girlfriend has been put on the Malta Freeport Terminals Ltd payroll
In June, Michael Farrugia’s girlfriend (he is separated from his wife) left her job at Banif bank and was put on the payroll at Malta Freeport Terminals Ltd.
Her name is Amanda Mifsud and she is a first cousin to Mariella Mifsud, the hairdresser who dated Nationalist MP Stephen Spiteri (while he was not separated from his wife), and who featured heavily in the Law Commissioner’s and MCST chairman’s Rabat escapades in the early hours of the weekend before last.
The Mifsuds are rabid Mintoffjani from Zejtun/Hal Ghaxaq and I cannot for the life of me understand why Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando chose to describe his female companion that night as “habiba tieghi Nazzjonalista”.
They are from the ‘ma taghmlu xejn mal-Perit Mintoff’ mould.

What on earth did she see in him? And he looks like he’s old enough to be her father.
That may well be the reason. According to some psychoanalytic theories some women exhibit their interrupted sexual/emotional development at the Electra complex stage by choosing a substitute for their father image as their partner.
They really managed to control every nook and cranny there is.
And she hooked up with Michael Farrugia because he’s so damned good-looking.
Oh, please.

John Milnor is one of just four mathematicians to have won the Fields Medal, the Wolf Prize and the Abel Prize. In short, he is a genius.
In 1956 he published his most famous work: the proof of the existence of 7-dimensional spheres with nonstandard differential structure. It was the first ever construction of the class of mathematical objects known as exotic spheres. A giant milestone in differential topology.
‘What’s Baxxter on about?’, you may be asking.
The point is that I have found a proof of the existence of even more complex crieki go crieki.
Indeed, just follow the money, the Mintoff, and the PL poster lines and one ends up with the Map of Meritocracy. Now a volunteer to bring this all into a visual construction.
Well done H.P., you’re nominated.
Seriously now, that would be a TERRIFIC internet meme.
The Map of Meritocracy. Coming to Facebook soon.
Here’s another one who insists on discovering new solids.

His lab sessions were the purest chaos.

I thought they were father and daughter.
I can understand that people in secretariats are chosen by the party in government.
Is it, however, that easy to employ someone with a government agency/corporation? Aren’t there established procedures for a call for applications, advertising the post, publication of results etc?
Were these followed? Maybe someone will ask a parliamentary question about this case.
Ask your MP to do that,That’s why they’re voted in.
