A little background. This particular lady (also known as il-Messikana) is mentally disabled (albeit lightly), and is exploited no end by the hordes who consider ridiculing others entertainment.
If anything, it should be highlighted, that the sickening actions of all this are more those of the people around her, rather than her. Alas, she is not all there.

It’s the kind of horrific memory that stays with you all your life. Not the sort of childhood memories that inspire love for my own people.
I agree as I saw this person walking along Sliema front during the street art festival and suspected that something was not right.
That makes it even more disgusting. Why do the police not take action in such situations?
Is that not a variety of modern contemporary culture?
Culture can be of low level as well as of high level.
Does one not have to care for culture of all degrees in a liberal democracy?

Indeed, this video-clip reveals the double standards of many who find it so easy to insult an EU Commissioner and then they refrain from condemning such nonsense. Taking care of persons who have their life threatened by their governments is much more serious than this lady using our country for her stupid dancing! Indeed, Malta is gradually getting fuller of ‘l-imbarazz.’

She is Maltese, well known, and something of a cult phenomenon. You can even hire her for private events.
One thing is certain — that ass is Maltese. In that sense, it’s Maltese culture, a product of sausages, hamburgers, potatoes, pastizzi and pasta all consumed at some BBQ by the sea. Hurray for Maltese women.
Connecting this with the immigrants issue is stretching the argument too far.
We need protection from Africans because Africans have not managed to build anything in their own countries in spite of vast wealth and they are now out to dismantle Europe.
Africans have had enough time to put their house in order but they didn’t and they can no longer blame their former colonizers — too much time has passed. Our children will pay for Europe’s lack of spine.
You and I will long be gone six feet under when the real catstrophe will materialize but our descendants will be here to suffer the consequences of the short-sighted decisions taken by the EU, the ECHR, the UNHCR and the whole lot of over-paid, unelected officials who make decisions contrary to the will of the overwhelming majority of European citizens. The death-knell of Europe has been rung already.
The death knell for Europe is rung whenever racists get away with making wild, uninformed statements. That’s a throwback to the first half of the twentieth century. We should have come a long way since then. Clearly, we haven’t.

You can judge a society by how one treats its weakest members. Shame on whoever makes fun of the cognitively or physically challenged. Pity some Maltese never learn as I was going to ask you to write one thing or two on this Daphne. To all of you out there, never take your good health (mental or physical) for granted, next time it could be you the laughing stock!
Dear Mrs Malmstrom, The “solution” to our immigration concerns is obvious. Just make sure that these poor souls are shown some of these clips before crossing the Med and by God, they will not want to step foot in Malta.

When the Church and politicians as Dr Fenech Adami speak of “Maltese values” I think that they mean something different forn the above video. Similarly when intellectuals as Prof O. Friggieri and the late Prof Fr P. Serracino Inglott spoke of culture they also meant something completely different.
