Mr Hundred Million Dollars Again

Published: August 24, 2013 at 3:14pm

I received this email at 2pm from somebody in the A & E waiting-room at the general hospital:

Good Afternoon,

I’ve been waiting in the Emergency waiting area since 10 o clock. There are other patients who are waiting since nine. 45 minutes ago mr. john dalli came to casualty for some relative of his, a young woman, and after seeing the nurse in Room 1 and waiting for a mere 10 more minutes in the waiting room they were called again directly to area 1.
Thank you,

Possibbli dan il-bniedem ma jafx jisthi? Diga ghamilha darba ohra.

U min jaf kemm drabi ohra Dalli ghamel hekk u ma nstemghax.

Nahseb lanqas Alla ma qed ilahhaq mat-tghaffig, tahwid, u abbuz li ghaddej min mindu Joseph Muscat inghata l-gvern f’idejh minn qabda cwiec u opportunisti li bieghu erwiehom ghal-kocc cicri.

Naqbel mieghek li cwiec bieghu ruhom u gisimhom ghal ftit karawett li issa lanqas dan ma hadu.

Don’t know if this classifies as sheer arrogance or complete lack of basic manners.

Having said that half the Maltese would do the same, only if they ever have a chance to do it.

  4. oxo says:

Why are we not surprised? We shall continue to be treated like this: second class citizens against the first class type of JD&co.

  5. Min Jaf says:

Ismail, il-PL minqabel l-elezzjoni dejjem iddikjaraw li ser inaqqsu z-zmien tal-mistennija fl-isptar Mater Dei. Hu kif ikkonfermatlek dik il-persona, hekk ghamlu. Biss ma qalghux ghal min.

  6. ciccio says:

If the former EU Commissioner went all the way to the Bahamas and returned on the same aircraft after spending no more than 4 hours there without setting his foot on the Bahamas, why shouldn’t he be able to go to the Mater Dei and get to move on in much less than 4 hours?

  7. rpacebonello says:

Would have credited J Dalli with more intelligence. Is this the plan to reduce waiting times? What must I do to get similar treatment in this just society?

    • Francis Saliba MD says:

J Dalli has got the “intelligence” but he is not wasting it equally on all the sick patiently awaiting their turn to receive treatment. He prefers to be arrogant and to discriminate in favour of his chosen ones.

  8. anthony says:

    It’s always a start.

After all he has only been in the job for a couple of months.

Just enough time to solve the problems for himself and his family.

  9. Last Post says:

Couldn’t he have arranged to have whatever he wanted to get done more discreetly as he used to do when he a PN Minister?

But then under Labour it’s either the country is run by absolute incompetents or these people are so shameless and arrogant as to piss on all of us.

Nahseb ghandu xi strategija gdida biex inaqqas id-dewmin u qed jippruvha fuq ta’ gewwa qabel, ma tmurx ma tirnexxhix u jbati l-poplu. DALLI minn dejjem kien ragel fuq l-irgiel.

  12. ken il malti says:

Being Johnny Cash Dalli certainly has its privileges.

  13. Left Waiting says:

I was there also and it’s true, there was a man waiting and went complaining to Mr Dalli also!
