Oh, so Natius is a lot more confused about genders than I thought at first

Natius

Reader Min Jaf has sent in the most detailed explanation of what ‘torbotlu l-kitla’ means. I realise that Natius Farrugia may not be too familiar with a woman’s anatomy, unless he’s carrying out those Brazilian waxes himself. However, surely even he knows by now…

“Torbotlu l-kitla” is the more socially acceptable form of the expression “torbotlu il-bajd”, i.e tying a string round someone’s balls and so being able to exert effective control on that person’s actions.

obNATIUS posted the following on his facebook timeline:

“KEMM INT KERA MARQA L INT………IN NATURA VERA KINET TAHT XOKK META HOLQOT LILEK………EJJA SANDI S SALON TIGHI U NIPROVA NIRRANGAK , NATIUS OLA GHAS SERVIZZ TIGHEK “.

If he is an example of the kind of results obtained by his salon you’d better stay away.

[Daphne – Yes, that’s right. He looks like a pervert in real life. A friend who saw him up close thinks he actually WAXES his face, which has that ‘ageing infant’s bottom’ look about it which is so creepy in a middle-aged man, and so very unmasculine – not that he aims to be masculine, I imagine. He’s the sort who used to dress up in ladies’ clothes and prance about for the delectation of other men, in times gone by – you know, the sort of performance you’d get in the REAL Strait Street, as distinct from the one of popular leged. Also, he knows exactly what I look like because he came face to face with me in the street (as the entire country eventually discovered) and seemed to be a little disturbed to discover what I actually do look like, and even more disturbed to find that he does not tower above me, even though he is much taller than average for a Maltese man.]
