What a mess of a man: 50 years old, married twice, three children and STILL pursued by the demons of despair

The Prime Minister wants to know why his opposite number has demanded a public inquiry into “an argument in a tea-shop” and says he is sure the police will deal with it properly.

That’s hardly the point, is it. This wasn’t an argument in a tea-shop. This is yet more evidence that there is something deeply wrong with both the Law Commissioner and the Malta Council for Science & Technology chairmn, which makes them unfit for those posts.

Exactly why were they unwilling to go home to bed in the early hours of the morning after the August Moon Ball, and instead felt the need to go to Gianpula’s Saturday (amateur night) club for life’s losers – ‘Marrakesh’ – until 5am. And even then, they were still unwilling to go home and stopped by for coffee and pastizzi at Crystal Palace to kill another hour before facing the inevitable.

There’s more. At no point in his explanation to the press did the MCST chairman say that he was with his wife at the Crystal Palace at 5am. He was photographed walking toward the Rabat bar with an unidentified woman in a short red dress, who some people assumed is his wife Carmen. She is not. Carmen has a hairdo like a Japanese money-box and was wearing a long green satin dress on the night.

Maybe she was bringing up the rear?

The woman in the second photograph looks like the one next to Carmen in the first photo.

[Daphne – No. The dresses are different. The woman standing next to Carmen has her left shoulder exposed. The woman with the MCST chairman in Rabat does not.]

The Prime Minister has appointed these people to relatively high profile positions …. by keeping them there he is tacitly encouraging them to continue with their unbecoming, actually aggressive, behaviour.

But then, to him there is nothing wrong with this behaviour.

He is as aggressive, but generally his aggression is of the passive sort.

And he cannot seem to understand that when people are in certain positions, they should behave in a manner consonant with such a position at all times. They have no “private” life as their private behaviour can, and will, bring their public position into disrepute.

Jeff’s losing his marbles further on Facebook.

As his profile is public for all to see, I suggest you take a look.

And as of now, posts were uploaded 9 minutes ago, an hour ago, three hours ago and six hours ago. Does the man work or is business particularly slow today?

Spot on! The prime minister must be able to see where the problem lies.

  6. There is a difference between an event which requires police investigation, and unseemly public behaviour by a highly placed public official.

But both should be a matter of concern to the prime minister who cares about the public behaviour of his appointees to high office.

It’s been a night of royalty for Pullicino Orlando.

It started at the Verdala Palace, and ended at the Crystal Palace.
