    Franco wouldn’t have a problem with this. He turns off his mobile but it still rings.

    Poor air hostess. The solution in the circumstances would be to copy the policy of the paranoid Maltese Labour Ministers:

    All mobile phones to be left (or confiscated) at the check in counter.
