An appeal to my anonymous spy network

Will one of you be kind enough to find out whether the BMW with ZER 088 plates is registered to Silvio Scerri personally (ID card address) or to a business (e.g. Nexos) with Scerri named as the licensed driver?
I think we need to know whether the Police and Army Minister is borrowing a car from one of his employees or borrowing that car from a business owned by his employee.

If Minister Mallia is saving taxpayer money by borrowing his Chief of Staff’s car, why doesn’t the Prime Minister do the same and save the exchequer a further 7,000 euros per annum while borrowing his car ?
All you would need is his ID card number, which you could then input onto ADT’s website together with the number plate and see if they result in a match.
You’ll need the engine number too.
Just look for his company’s accounts on the MFSA website. His ID Number should pop up somewhere.
338767M – odd that he resigned from Nexos in January.
[Daphne – Why odd? He knew they were going to win the election.]
That was easy. The car is under his personal name. https://secure2.gov.mt/vera/default.aspx?page=vrt&opt=vrtnextdate&serv=general
[Daphne – You can’t find out just like that. You need the engine number.]
The link provided by Harvey (for the next VRT date) does tell you that ID 338767M is linked to Reg: ZER088. But that’s all it tells you.
No you don’t for just a match. Check it out. You only need the engine number for getting more details.
If it’s a match to his ID card then it’s safe to assume that it is registered under his name, not under a company, his or otherwise.
In the meantime, a prisoner commits suicide in his cell.

As of this morning…. the above mentioned BMW was sporting the plebeian plates “ZER008” again. Saw him passing by on his way to Valletta. Maybe the Minister called the “pjacir” off….
