Please consider a press call issued by the Valletta 2018 Foundation below:
The chairman of the Valletta 2018 Foundation Mr Jason Micallef announces the establishment of ‘Valletta Forum’.
Friday 6th September 2013
Reception starts at 20:15, addresses to take place at 21:00 approximately.
Upper Barrakka Garden, Valletta.

Oh, so that’s why there was an announcement earlier this week, saying that the barrakka lift will not be working from 4pm today till roughly dawn tomorrow due to some event at Barrakka Gardens.
I wonder whether alternative arrangements were made for any passengers from cruise ships.

[Daphne – No, most certainly not. He has been communications director there for some time now, which is why I am on his email list along with the rest of the press. If he were a political appointment, I wouldn’t be.]
Edward Bonello has been communications director since last year. No iced bun there, he’s a competent and energetic person by any standards. He also has a degree in Communications, which fits the job description.
