What a great video of the Law Commissioner. So dignified. So inspiring. Such – to quote the Archbishop – MORAL FIBRE.

The Judas kiss! Only in this instance the rolls are reversed, it is Judas receiving the ‘kiss’.
“Tonight we are young.”
Tixtieq.
Moral fibre in abundance
Moral fibre, decency, discretion , pride , respect ,etc etc … not in their dictionary
As long as he’s getting the attention he so craves .. ..
It is even embarrassing to watch the video, let alone be there experience it in person.
I stopped watching it half way through. Utterly disgusting!
It was particularly embarrassing that a pack of hardened thugs could barely hoist him shoulder-high. Also, the fact that they are all laughing at the Nazzjonalist Gakbin on the inside really tears you up, doesn’t it. For the first time I felt sorry for the man.
How degrading for him.
Every time I’ve seen photos of this dignified celebration, it always struck me as ironic that he chose to wear blue as opposed to the sea of red surrounding him. Maybe before the appointment as Law Commissioner he couldn’t afford to change his wardrobe to match his beliefs, miskin.
Biegh lil hutu ghal ftit flus ja traditur.
Mhux l-avukat tar-rahal izda l-jester tar-rahal.
My thoughts exactly: the village idiot paraded around the club as if he were the spoils of war. Terrible, really.
If this is the ‘Best of Labour’ I shudder to think what the worst is. One thing is for sure, we’re now destined to find out.
Is ‘moron fibre’ sufficient as a substitute?
