Ah, so that’s why there were no autograph-hunter’s photographs with the Chairman of the PLO

When Prime Minister Muscat was over in his stomping-ground, meeting random shards of the Palestinian Liberation Organisation and having the DOI dispatch releases, PLO chairman Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mahzen) was at the Vatican, meeting the Pope.
Shame.

Abu Mahzen knows where the power lies.
So he was off the see the wizard.
He distinguishes between real /honest personalities and the clowns.
Our great pm could not manage a photo with Abu Mahzen which he thought he was going to buy for 110,000 euros, from our money. No personal thanks, jahasra kien ghand il-Papa, xi dnub.
And the twit went to Palestine during the Eid el Adha holiday: it would be like somebody coming on an official visit to Malta in the week between Christmas and New Year’s. Amateurs.
WTF is Joe Mifsud of TVAM doing sitting at the same table with the Prime Minister, the Foreign Affairs Minister and foreign dignitaries? Has he been appointed ambassador or something?
When the Pope gave him that pen, Abu Mahzen remarked, “It shall be with this pen that I will sign the peace treaty with Israel.”
This is a very strong and symbolic statement coming from the Middle East.
