Arrest them all

Below I have uploaded some very interesting links showing unauthorised photographs taken of unsuspecting travellers at Malta International Airport, which may seriously affect our position in Schengen – unlike the sale of passports to Russian, Chinese and Azeri crooks for the equivalent of their annual restaurant bill.
Be careful, for these images are truly shocking. Norman Vella must have snapped them and sent them to the newspapers.

Not annual, but weekend. See below.

The reason they snatched Norman’s phone and iPad must be a more sinister one. They are not as dumb as we are picturing them.
They had a mission and looks like they have accomplished it.
They wanted to get hold of any info or photos Norman might have and make sure they are erased. Nothing to do with Kurt and Ramona at the airport.
Whether Norman had the chance to transfer this data to another computer is what we will find out, sooner or later.
[Daphne – ‘They are not as dumb as we are picturing them.’ Brute force does not equate with intelligence, Gorg. If they were really smart, they would have found some other way. Look at the US – it got away with spying on half of Europe for years. They didn’t force their way into Merkel’s office and demand her phone.]
But they must have wanted something very important (embarassing??) and very quick. That’s why I think they acted so blindly.
I’m sure they knew that Norman was not going to stay put, especially since there were no photos taken at the airport.
Must be something concerning the ‘personal issues’ Muscat threatened Norman about.
When the Police Commissioner himself doesn’t know the law, police blunders will inevitably happen.
Pls remember that Norman has the other case against the goverment regarding his dismissal from PBS. Some information from his phone may be handy to the real crooks.
Arrest them all, God will know his own…. (with apologies to Abbot Arnaud of Albigensian Crusade fame).
To think the course they’re attending is ‘Government; image and communication’. The irony.
1. 750 more unemployed since October 2012
2. Mockery promotions, AFM
3. Data seizure and ARREST, Norman Vella.
To mention just a few….
1. Xoghol
2.Gustizzja
3. Liberta’.
Merely 8 months.
Let this be a lesson for all of us – encrypt your laptops (Truecrypt is excellent and free); password protect your phones and encrypt them if you can.
[Daphne – Well, actually, last night’s judgement makes that unnecessary. You can just refuse to hand over your things. What are the police going to do in those circumstances – pin you to the ground and wrest them off you? Imagine the news value of that.]
…. I put nothing past these guys!
I don’t think you are giving Qahbu, good advice.
The best is to cooperate with the police,lest they charge yiou with resisting their orders and God help you if you are alone and they are more than one. { so many things can be found in one’s pockets without one knowing they were there}
So my advice to Qahbu is, if you are sure there is nothing to incriminate you in your laptop, etc, just cooperate, and fight for your rights in court.
It’s Halloween tonight, if you want to scare the bejesus out of someone find yourself a police commissioner costume
