Here you are: Clint, the new ambassador to Belgium’s boyfriend, with the prime minister
I could start a debate about whether there is any young man in the Labour Party who’s got a normal first name, but I’ll be charitable. This is the trailer-trash generation, with names to suit, and they didn’t choose them. Their Mintoffian parents did, raised on a diet of Westerns and PO Box Ghaxra.
In any case, this man here with the prime minister is the elusive Clint Flores, who is being allowed to leave his job at the Central Bank (see Alfred Mifsud for deputy governor post) – though it is not clear whether he will be on sabbatical or on secondment – so as to join his boyfriend, Malta’s new ambassador in Brussels.
Well, it’s interesting to see that it’s not only heterosexual men who become vampires the older and more ghoulish they become – sucking blood and more at the neck-fountain of youth.
When I wrote about Mr Clint earlier, a couple of his supporters buzzed in angrily. One told me that I should have mentioned the fact that he “got the highest marks in his course” – well, wow to that. And the other ticked me off because he’s “a private person”. Oh indeed – just like Peter Mandelson’s Brazilian boyfriend, who didn’t even work for the government or pose with the prime minister.
I see the Pink Mafia want special treatment, despite pretending that what they really want is equal treatment. If you want equal treatment, take equal criticism. If this were Ray Azzopardi’s girlfriend, rather than boyfriend, she wouldn’t be spared.

Is it just an impression, or is Labour literally dominated by the Pink Mafia, closeted and not?
Come, come. Let’s be charitable. Isn’t Joseph normal enough for you? Isn’t he a young Labour man?
This is a clear example of what I always sustained,
Give these fairies a finger and they will eventually take all your hand.
They are all coming out of the closset and being given the best jobs.
[Daphne – My fault, Mr Loporto. Perhaps I should have been more specific and factual: not Pink Mafia but Pink Labour Mafia. You voted for it. I didn’t. You should have assessed these matters before the election not afterwards.]
Dear mrs Caruana Galizia, you should know by now I have no sympathy for faires, be they blue, red or green’
To me a fairy is always a fairy.
Your last paragraph is just great.
Ajma Daphne. What would I do without your blog ?
You have become my only source of information on the slime and sleaze of this shady government.
Please keep it going – your contribution to The Truth is vital. You have a legion of followers, believe me. I am one of them.
